High five on back-to-back crits!
Apr 21, 2016 5:27 pm
Speaking of which, you owe me 1d4 crit damage :)

Does my racial poison damage resistance affect my constitution save? If so by how much?
Apr 22, 2016 7:41 pm
Damage resistance will just reduce the damage you take (if any) by half, and not effect saves. If your racial ability effected saves, it would say that you gain advantage on saves against poison.

gotcha thanks.

FYI in case I haven't mentioned, I am on vacation this week but should still be able to check in once a day.

Oh was it our turns plus rolling Con saves?
Apr 26, 2016 12:45 am
yup!
Apr 28, 2016 4:59 pm
Does my dodge count against the attack that landed? And did you already take my poison damage resistance into account on the 5 damage?
Apr 28, 2016 5:01 pm
forgot about dodge ...

Rolls

dodge - (1d20+6)

(3) + 6 = 9

miss!
Apr 28, 2016 5:16 pm
glad to hear that he missed that shot, poison damage?
Apr 28, 2016 5:20 pm
There is no poison damage. The ongoing 5 was not poison, it was 'bleeding', but it was part of the on hit effect of the serrated-wing-slash attack and so by missing, it also missed the bleeding effect. So, Ghunril it scot free (well, he still has Poisoned from the breath attack, which gives disadvantage on all rolls).
Apr 28, 2016 5:41 pm
since I have disadvantage, can I feint/help everyone else so they have advantage this turn?
Apr 28, 2016 8:00 pm
Yup. Disadvantage only affects actions that make you roll, you can totally 'work around it' by taking actions that don't require rolls (such as Assist).
Apr 30, 2016 1:42 pm
I should've looked things up before I made blanket rule claims! Feint isn't the combat action you are looking for (it doesn't exist!). What you want is "Help" which lets you grant Advantage to another character's next attack. So, pick the character you are 'helping' and they get Advantage on their next attack this combat.
Apr 30, 2016 9:34 pm
is their anyone that hasn't taken their turn yet? Can I apply it to someone that has already gone? That seems tricky since they have already rolled their attacks.

if not Ill just take my disadvantaged attack with spear and unarmed strike.
