Maybe with this variant I ought to rename initiative to something like "reaction speed" - it's a purely mechanical thing that is a source of advantage not a posting order/action order thing.

Paws is down by the bridge, hiding by a tree - if Kaiakas wants to move up to her he definitely can. He may want to make a stealth check though (unless he doesn't want to avoid being noticed). You can edit that in if you want (or change your plan).

If you read the last post right away, and it didn't have a giant block of blue text, go back and look at it again. I realized how long Xara and the Dragon have been chatting, and made some executive decisions (in the party's favour).

Does the dragon know about Paws specifically or just that someone else is hiding?

Dragon knows about Paws, as well as the "crossbow skulker" which I think is Kaiakas.

I'm pretty sure the dragon saw her since the two of us were sneaking together.

That information is classified! What you could infer, though, is that the dragon noticed paws sneaking at the same time Xara proudly announced herself. Whether or not the dragon identified paws, or just saw a figure, depends on the dragon's passive perception. Which is classified ; )

In other news: Xara's plan is to double the bait count! More bait = more loot, right? :P
