It grants advantage on their next attack, so if they've already taken a turn this round, they'll get to have the advantage next round.

Xara's a rogue, right? Have you been applying Sneak Attack damage on your hits?

I haven't, to be honest I'm not 100% sure when that applies...

Once per turn, you apply Sneak Attack damage with a finesse or ranged weapon:

* when you have Advantage on an attack
* when your target has another opponent within 5' of it, and you're not Disadvantaged

Added my diplomacy check and man the dice have not been kind to me recently.

I was considering a penalty for Ghunril's implicit insult (whether intentional or not), but the dice roller seems to have 'represented' that with the result ;)

It was intentional but not meant to be obviously offensive. And your right, the elves cursed my role.

Um, I don't see Diplomacy on my character sheet. Would Persuasion work?

Yeah Persuasion is what I meant - I learned D&D with 3.5 so some of those intuitions still leap to the forefront of my mind from time to time.

I totally understand. I started playing/learning D&D with 3e. I thought my character sheet was glitched at first. :p

I brought up the army last time being connected to Tiamat and these was some discussion about where the map and painting were at. Just so we're clear, where exactly are those? For future reference.

The map was given to the Lion of Brindol you met in the tavern before leaving Drellen's Ferry to bring back to Brindol. Pawetha, however, made a faithful copy of it that you have.

The painting, on the other hand, as far as I recall, was left where it was found? If someone took it, then they still have it (and, thus should be noted on their character sheet).

Ok I was thinking Kaiakas took it, but wasn't exactly sure. Gonna note that on my sheet now

Yeah I'm also thinking it was Kaiakas who last had it.
