Kaiakas definitely did not see the hobgoblin.

It's all about that passive perception, which is 13, and so is enough (isn't abstraction great :)). Also, you apparently forfeit your turn last round so Xara has 2 sets of Actions to take (then turn you roll 20 and 'wake up' you get to take actions as normal). Once of you 2 moves will be to stand, I'm sure, but that leaves you with 2 actions, 1 move and having noticed the bugbear flying away.

Should I keep making death saves?

Does any character have a healer/herbalism kit? If yes, then you can stop making saves.

If no, make one for the end of combat, and then we'll see if anyone tries to stabilize you.

I also am down to 1HP. Zaris, are you unconscious due to 0HP?

I think Zaris may ALSO be at 1hp.

I should have two spell slots, so one more for Zaris!

I'm at 1 hp. I'm having him passed out as it is fitting for him as a character!

I gave Zaris 11 hp, while Xara took 7. That's it for my spell slots. Hopefully someone has something for Rurik!

Kaiakas, being religiously well informed, will recognize it as Tiamat (I think earlier on you guys already identified a holy symbol of tiamat, I'll prowl back through the aftermath of the first battle and dig up some links)

Yes, you did indeed already identify a holy symbol here, so it should be no trouble to recognize this as a more realistic depiction of the chromatic-dragon god. Kaiakas might even know that Tiamat is presently thought to be banished from the mortal realm, and followers of her faith are very uncommon in civilized lands (and of course, little is known about followers in the wilds). Long ago she was revered by many, but she isn't even recognized amongst the gods of the realms anymore (only those who've taken time to read tomes on ancient faiths know of her and her followers).

Theives' tool use is not attached to a skill. You just roll 1d20, and if you are proficient with them you add your proficiency bonus. That said, trap checking is a Perception roll anyway :)

For the curious- I've called the weapon a 'bastard sword' because we're actually playing a 3.5 module and I was just copying right out of the module text when describing the loot. There's no bastard sword in 5th ed. Mechanically, it's a long sword (so either Corban or Kaiakas would be happy with it).

Cool, I was going to ask if it was a d10 longsword or something, but an enchanted longsword is still awesome.

I thought about it, then I realized that (1) I like 5e's simplified weapon chart and (2) longsword is versatile so can be used 2-handed for d10 damage.
