"What do you mean? " he says as he continues his approach to the gore.

You can make it to where the head landed, yes. When you pick it up, you see that the head is very much real. Gore leaks from the clean slash mark.

Marie-Louise turns back to the elf just in time to see his head come off. She hears the hooded man speak and starts to laugh softly. She ignores Uriel calling for her and watches Vlur and Shanou move and starts to laugh harder as the raggedy man falls on the floor. Her laughter is joyful with the slightest hint of creepiness. Very sudden her laughter stops and her eyes focus on the black hooded figure. With a twisting motion her hand shoots out in front of her. Raccapricciante! A very wicked smile appears on her face as the beam of energy flows from her hand towards the figure, making her eyes sparkle darkly.

Casting Eldritch Blast as a cantrip.

Ci walks over and scoops up the gory head as little Marie-Louise giggleblasts her way into the confrontation. However, the chuckling that seems to have taken over her body sends her cast awry! Instead of striking the black-hooded man, it sails wide, making unfortunate contact with a pigeon that had been swooping in to peck at the crumbs of food on the ground. All that was left in that wake, was a puff of feathers and an aborted squawk.

The black-hooded man turns to look at Marie-Louise, his death's head smile stretching wider yet. One gaunt finger reaches up to touch his throat, as his lips mumble a word. Suddenly his voice booms out, vastly louder than it should be.

Fhaagathra! Zgrah'latah C'thalet tchougwa naretha!

His piece said, he pulls the bottom of his black mask up, and shimmers out of view.

Shannout sees this hooded individual disappear but does believe in justice. What's wrong? Trying to avoid the spotlight?!

He then conjures 2 spotlights that shine down in an area on the invisible foe.

OOC:

Faerie Fire -Create a 20' cube where enemies are outlined inside (color of my choice.) On a failed save, the creature also gives off light 10'. Advantage against any creature in cube. Creatures in cube cannot invis. DC12

The spotlight focuses red light around the unseen figure. Shannout moves closer to Daveth, but in front of him.

The spotlights shine down on the square, a bunch of people look up at the shimmering lights and smiles spread over their faces as their bodies are outlined in crimson light. However, you can't see the crazy man at all. You hear a deranged chuckle from somewhere in the crowd.

The Raggedy Man stands up carefully as Vlur's strike falls just next to the man's head. With a laugh, he swings his scimitar at Vlur. His head must have been swimming from standing up, because he swings wide, spinning around in a wide circle, a far cry from the expert swing earlier.

Stunned by her magic missing its target Marie-Louise doesn't struggle when Uriel picks her up. She looks over his shoulder at the raggedy man, a very dark look on her face as she thinkspeeks into raggedy's mind. Tell C'thalet this mortal scum says hi Her hand makes the same movent and whispers the incantation, shooting a beam at the raggedy man.

Spooked by the flow of events, Ci hops to the nearest ledge, roof, or platform. He tries to assert composure and his body wearily complies. He then proceeds to seek the one who seemed to have summoned the ghostly blade.

Unable to see where his for has gone, Shannout drops concentration on Faerie Fire. Stand near me. Shannout gets ready to be on the defensive. He hums to himself as his skin takes a shimmer (Blade Ward).
