As this is the first damage dealt to a player in combat, I'll note this here. I will let you know the result of their attack rolls, as well as the damage they deal in a red-text entry like this so you can determine any reaction abilities you'd like to use. This information will not include any resistance (1/2 damage, rounded down), reduction, or vulnerability (2x damage) that your character may get. It is up to you to account for those modifiers.

It's a bit less risky than your normal tabletop form would have it, since you usually wouldn't know the actual result, so it's the "would adding +2 to my AC here save me, if not, I won't do it". However, I feel it is far more fun to NOT waste super limited abilities like the Goliath stoneskin thing. If, after I post something like this, you want to use a reaction to offset the damage or boost your AC (cton's gloves, for example), just let me know in your next post and I'll edit my post to reflect it.
