Vlur almost shudders at the sound coming from right next to him.

A war, a game? Who controls us? Who's side are you on?

Vlur, as you think back on your history and where you're standing, you remember that the entire park is a borderland between the Feywild and the material plane. It's very likely you've run across a particularly infuriating feycreature.

(Yes, this is what you think of even with your roll).

The creature doesn't actually respond to you this time. You hear lilting laughter. As you stand there, you notice the feyknight and a few others have started moving towards your location.
Feb 13, 2018 4:06 pm
Marie-Louise squeezes Vlur's hand, pointing to the feyknight moving towards them. Do you think they want to play a game with us? Should I get ready to fight or would you rather leave? I thought we were going to dance, buy this is way more exciting!
Feb 15, 2018 7:54 pm
Vlur whispers to her
Let us see what their intentions are. Be ready for anything.

He turns to the feyknight and says to them as they approach moving into a more lax stance.

Hello, there is something wrong?
Feb 20, 2018 2:05 pm
The three beings move towards you and up close you can see that the handle of the sword at the feyknight's hip is well worn, and the armor shows signs of having been well used.

What are you doing in the wood duskskin? he sneers, voice heavily accented. The two behind him aren't wearing any armor. One is in deep green robes, the other in a simple set of pants and a linen shirt, but without any shoes.

We were called out to by a voice speaking of the green. We thought it was some sort of goblin. Come see the prints it has left behind.

Vlur attempts to lead back the group to the prints they found of the creature.

Marie-Louise frowns as the man only adresses Vlur and she angrily adresses only him.

Hey! This "duskskin" is part of my experiment so you can talk to me if you want to know why he's here. We were trying to dance with the waltzing goblin, but then you came along and he was talking about games so do you want to play or not? I'm really good at games...
Her big green eyes begin to twinkle and she lifts one corner of her mouth, getting ready to put a spell on the man if he agrees to play a game, or if she wants to for any other reason.
OOC:
sorry for being away so much. I did the "very sick"
thing where I was a pile of misery and fever and Sam was/is doing the same and then some, so heavy weeks! But we're slowly on the climb up, so hopefully more active playing in the near future!

OOC:
No worries at all! Happens to all of us!
Feb 23, 2018 2:07 am
The feyknight looks at you askance, right up until Marie-Louise speaks into his head. A dark cloud brushes across his face and his hand drops to his sword.

You will keep yourself from my head, child. Waltzing goblin or game, doesn't matter. You tread near to the Courts and that kind of petulant reaching by a mere mortal as yourself will not be tolerated. Were it not for the business I have here, I would see to it that your head adorned my mantle in the Feywild. he says with a sneer, drawing a snicker from the old man in the green robes.
Feb 25, 2018 2:18 pm
Marie-Louise takes a step forward, letting out a small evil giggle, then softly whispering timeant me before addressing the Feyknight out loud.

Vlur seeming angry says.

See here, that is no way to speak to a child!

Even is she is creepy.
Feb 28, 2018 3:42 am
The feyknight's eyes flicker purple as he draws the curved sword from his belt. A cruel smile crosses his face as black flames lick out across the blade.

Child or not, insulting an ennobled fey is a death sentence, you damned fool! he says as he adopts a fighting stance, the blade held ready to strike.

As the man moves, Uriel sighs and picks Marie-Louise up, tossing her over his shoulder. We should leave. Go talk to professor. Leave the fey alone. he says, as he starts to walk off.

The man in the robes places a hand on the feyknight's shoulder quickly.

Marie-Louise doesn't struggle when Uriel tosses her over his shoulder, meeting the professor is too important. She looks at the three fey men with a wicked smile on her face, speaking only into their minds.
Business before playtime it seems.
Don't worry, we will meet again, if it's Perse's desire. Perhaps somewhere more public?
She continues to giggle ominously into their minds until she can't see them anymore.

Vlur follows but gives a cross look to the feyknight from behind his mask.
Mar 7, 2018 2:11 pm
The looks on the faces of the fey are nothing short of unbridled fury, however, you manage to make your escape and head to the Adamantine Rail station. A few hours later, you find yourselves standing outside the University, ready to head into the campus to observe the teacher's class.
Mar 7, 2018 10:00 pm
Let us head in.

Vlur moves his mask away from his face and attempts to enter the campus looking for someone to guide them to their destination.
Mar 13, 2018 12:31 pm
As you all make your way onto the campus proper, you can tell it's much busier than it was yesterday. The energy is somehow more frantic, with people running every direction. You fight through the crowds of robed students, managing to get directions to Sturnk Hall. A thirty minute walk later, you enter a building somewhat different from the others on campus. Rather than being stately in its grandeur, Sturnk Hall manages to come off as foreboding. Black stone, streaked with gold and red, then polished to a mirror finish dominates the face of the building. The dark doors are banded with rough-hammered iron supports. When you enter the hall, it is substantially cooler inside than out, and the students inside look shiftier than those you've encountered elsewhere.

After a few minutes, you find someone willing to give you directions to Professor Maladrin's class. Checking the magical time pieces hanging from the ceiling in the central atrium, you can see that you have about thirty minutes remaining until fourteen bells.
Mar 13, 2018 3:52 pm
Vlur heads towards the classroom and if there is a window, peers in. If not he opens the door to do so.
