Marie-Louise brings food? Yes, come in with friends.
Jun 13, 2018 8:57 pm
Tolwir looks around the room for an appropriate place to put his load of... food. But also just examining the dwelling of the new friend.

Even with the blood and sweat from hauling the "food" to Gwar'hull'ij, it's not hard to take in all the room has to offer. There is a single battered bed to the left that likely only would have slept a single person when it was in good shape. The rest of the room is empty, featuring no windows, no storage, no nothing. It's possible this was where a servant would have slept for a master that cared little for their well-being.

Stitch moves quietly towards a corner of the room, so that he can see the door, and all the people/food/Gwar'hull'ij. As he passes by Gwar'hull'ij he nods in an appreciative manner.
Jun 18, 2018 7:56 pm
Marie-Louise walks up to the bed, sitting on the edge and looking at Gwar'hull'ij and speaking only to him. You are free to eat the buttfaces whenever you like, but I don't know how much vomit will be flowing if you do in front of them. Also i would like to ask you some questions about how we can leave this place. I have read a bit about the Abyss, but I don't know how to make a portal back to our world. Please tell me you can help me? She waves her hand towards the half-orcs when she speaks about them and gets a slightly evil grin when she mentions the vomit.
OOC:
sorry for taking so long to post, hard emotional week, couldn't focus much on anything and didn't want to do a "meh" ML postJun 18, 2018 8:11 pm
Without speaking, Tolwir gingerly drops his orcish load in front of ML's new friend, then gingerly backs up, and turns to face the door, not wanting to see what happens next. Heironeous forgive me... he mutters.

No sooner do the bodies hit the ground than Gwar'hul'ij bounds towards the pale green skinned creature. With two bites, the poor sap's life is ended and face is removed.
No, no know how to make portals. There was a man here once, he could. Fah'blax ate him and took over. Maybe Fah'blax knows, but Fah'blax not tell anyone. Old man books near Fah'blax. he communicates into Marie-Lousie's head.

Marie-Louise's head cocks to the side when see hears the name Fah'blax in her head. We encountered some other creatures working for Fah'blax. They made him sound not very friendly. Books I like, a lot. Is there a way we could get those books and not get our souls sucked out by Fah'blax?
Jun 27, 2018 8:37 pm
Fah'blax not friendly. Fah'blax very bad. Eat everyone. If you can move very quiet, the door to old man book room is next to the door to Fah'blax. You can get there quietly and he won't eat you. Back in the main hall, the big door that way is Fah'blax. Look at his door, turn right. Go there. Gwar'hull'ij thinks at Marie-Louise. He continues his slurping consumption of half-orc by ripping an arm of the other still living one, strangely causing no noise from the catatonic humanoid.
OOC:
If you all want to try moving there stealthily, we'll do group stealth checks. Everyone makes a stealth roll and if more than half pass, you pass as a whole.Jun 27, 2018 9:15 pm
Marie-Louise's eyes are fixed on the effortless, perhaps almost artistic way Gwar'hull'ij eats the half-orcs. She smiles at him. Thank you friend, for helping me so much. If we manage to get the books and create a passage home, (surprise thing). If we don't survive I'm happy I met you, you are very nice to me. Goodbye Gwar'hull'ij.
She smiles and then turns her attention to the others in the room, thinking to them in an excited tone. Alright everyone! There are books to be found, possibly giving us a way out of here. They are in a room next to Fah'blax, who we really don't want to meet, so we have to be super duper quiet. Let's go!
She gets off of the bed and walks to the door, waiting for everyone to join her before stepping outside and following fluffy's directions towards the book room as stealthily as possible.

Ah, about that... I'm rather... clinky. Sneaking is a bit of an issue unless we might find something to help. Tolwir takes a few steps to demonstrate.
Jun 28, 2018 4:42 pm
Stitch cringes at both the devouring of the half orc and at the loud "Clinking" that Tolwir makes. All I can say is that I open to any suggestions that get us out of this place, sooner than later, and with my head still on my shoulders too

Marie-Louise stops, turns towards Towlir with raised eyebrows and speaks to all. Remember not too long ago, right in this hallway, I was sort of scream crying my face off and Fah'blax didn't come out of his room. I'd say "rather clinky" is not a problem here. Just don't be stupid, don't scream, don't fall down, and don't, for the love of Perse, don't open any doors!

Marie-Louise leads the charge for new information, getting so focused on the books that she misjudges her own feet and nearly goes sprawling across the floor. However, a very quick-minded Stitch manages to reach out and stop her from falling just enough that the group makes their way across the hall without raising further suspicion. When they reach the small alcove with three doors, Marie-Louise tries the one Gwar'hull'ij suggested. It swings open easily, revealing a bedroom study. A large bed dominates one side of the room, directly across from the door. It is covered in fine silks and a thin layer of dust. A pair of golden wall sconces sit on either side of the bed with eldritch flames lighting the room with a purpley glow.
Immediately to the left of the door as you enter is a large desk scattered with papers and books.
The floor is covered in a heavy rug, which muffles your steps.
There are two doors on the left wall, both are closed.

When Marie-Louise almost falls and Stitch catches her she looks up at him, eyes big and cheeks turning red. He might expect to hear a thank you in his head but she frees herself, turning her head away and continuing on feeling embarrassed. When she reaches the door she turns towards Stitch, still slightly blushing Thank you for that...
She pushes open the door and steps into the room, heading towards the desk and looking over the books. Her eyes move towards the doors and she turns to face the other. I will look over these books to see if there's anything in here that could help, could you guys search the room, and whatever is behind those doors? She smiles, then turns back to the desk, quickly scanning the books and papers for titles or information what they're about to see if they would be helpful for creating a portal

Tolwir silently nods to ML, surprised both at the lack of loud clinking he made on the way, as well as the good fortune to have a rug in the room. He continues moving quietly up to the two doors, and going to the one on the left first, starts examining it. He starts with the doorframe and floor near it, then puts his ear up to it. If he sees or hears nothing alarming, he will stand to one side and open it slowly.
