Heather comes over to see if she can help wake up the she-wolf, hopefully without using anymore spells.
OOC:
I assume I should roll a heal check.

Rolls

heal check - (1d20+9)

(5) + 9 = 14

Veroth begins to painstakingly checks the room for traps, (taking 20 on each spot=31s).

OOC:
taking 20
"Blasted, foul, no good elf magic!" The wind has somewhat gone out of the dwarf after fighting the vines for half an eternity, and his continued cursing is mostly turning into background noise. Murmuring more curses, he wipes blood of his great hammer onto one of the wolverines.
Apr 15, 2018 1:50 am
Heather thinks the she-wolf simply need some healing to regain consciousness (the whole injury and death rules of the game...). Meanwhile, Veroth passes the whole room through a fine-tooth comb. While he will fail to find any traps, he will notice a few things. First, there seems to be some equipment underneath the furs which partially covered the runic circle in the south-east. Second, he will notice that the further he moves west, the warmer the room gets. Nothing uncomfortable, but it sure would be a nice place to stay during winter... In fact, he'll notice that the warmth seems to emanate from the stone door on the western wall.
Apr 15, 2018 2:04 am
Veroth removes the furs to expose the equipment before examining it. "It is very warm over there, by that stone door. We should be careful before we open it."
Apr 15, 2018 2:13 am
Veroth will notice several dozen cold iron arrows, half a dozen potions, two small 30 cm length of intricately carved wood, a masterwork rapier, a masterwork studded leather, a masterwork chain shirt, and various small disposable personal items.
Apr 15, 2018 2:31 am
"Hmmm, some of this might be magical. Anyone want to check?"
Apr 15, 2018 3:49 am
"Those are cold iron arrows." Ujjaya says appraisingly. "Effective against demons and fey the same way silver is bane to these werewolves. I would take them but I am starting to wonder whether I should leave you temporarily and return to Maugren's widow. She deserves to know what happened to her husband."

"Of course," Darren responds to Veroth, casting a spell to detect magic.
Apr 15, 2018 7:27 pm
OOC:
@ Jabes: Bardo seemed interested. I sent him an invite, but I've yet to hear form him...
Darren will see that all 6 potions and both wands are magical.
Apr 15, 2018 7:54 pm
"Looks like all of the potions are magical, as well as the wands. Nothing else," he reports to Veroth.
Apr 16, 2018 4:21 am
Veroth puts the non-magical items into a sack to add to their group loot on the wagon, leaving the potions and wands for the casters. And moves toward the door, keeping watch while they interrogate the prisoner.

After his angry rant about elf magic winds down, Durgrim makes his way over to the others.
Apr 16, 2018 3:54 pm
"All I have left for spells is a couple channel energy and a few low level spells. I can wake her with a channel energy (I assume?) and heal anyone else who needs it."
OOC:
Is it noon soon? I really need to renew my spells.

Channel energy - (3d6)

OOC:
It will be noon in about an hour or so. Got up early from Janis' camp, made your way to the road, met Weiryn and got attacked by werewolves, then made your way through the forest to the ruined estate, took some time to explore the tower, then went down, took some time on the lever in the corridor, then a fight with the wolverines, yeah, I'd say this makes sense...
The captive she-wolf wakes up, tries in vain to break free of her bonds, shivers a bit then turns to you.

"What do you want from me? Are you going to torture me before I die? Or perhaps will you enjoy watching me slowly waste away from this disease? If you are here, I can only assume our mates are dead... So go ahead and finish us off already..."
Apr 16, 2018 4:17 pm
"Torture is such a relative term. From how you beg to die one could call leaving you alive torture. But, alas I have not come to torture you. I didn't even really want to fight you. You attacked us before we even had a chance to talk. So let's come to an arrangement where you tell me what I need to know, and I let you leave this life with honor."
Apr 16, 2018 5:54 pm
"If it means a quick and painless death, then fine, I will tell you all you wish to hear."
Apr 16, 2018 6:15 pm
"Let's start easy, what is the disease you have and what caused it?"
OOC:
I'm gonna list a few questions roland has so you can anser all at once to save some time.
2. Are there any more entities in this dungeon?
3. Who was the fey creature and why was it here?
4. Is there a map of this dungeon?
5. What are you doing here?
Apr 16, 2018 9:47 pm
"Sadly, I do not know. Me and Tris seem to have contracted it a few days ago, we've been slowly waisting away ever since, and none of our magical healing worked... Our pups quickly died from it, but our mates did not seem to have contracted it. Maybe it's this cursed place..."
Apr 17, 2018 6:17 am
At hearing this, Durgrim studies Janis's reaction carefully.
OOC:
He got anything to do with this? Also, are they telling the truth?

Rolls

Sense Motive - (1d20+6)

(18) + 6 = 24
