OOC:
Okay, Heather will have also heard the click of the door being locked again.
"Do you have any idea of the evil those monsters have unleashed on this valleys for untold generations? Do you have any ideas what those vile beasts are capable of? And you're willing to let this evil continue unabated with nothing but a mere slap on the wrist as punishment? This is ridiculous! There is no need for us to continue working together, but know this, the blood of this creature's victims is now on your hands!"

With this Janis retrieves some of his arrows and storms off...

Ireena is standing there completely dumbfounded by the hunter's reaction, only speaking once Janis is out of sight (and hopefully out of earshot...) "Wow, okay... and I thought I hated werewolves... I think I understand what Sir Urik meant when he warned us about how obsessed Janis was... Say, is it just me or did that door just sounded like it locked itself again?"

"I also heard a click. I have still not regained my spells. If they are happy to hide in their hole I would suggest we give me time to regenerate some attack spells and then see if we can get the door open again.

Perhaps the mysterious woman will reappear as well. Maybe she can tell us what we will find behind the door."

"Let's finish the task at hand while we wait. What are we doing with this captive? There is no way she will be willing to just leave after we finished off her entire den. We must decide what to do with her."

Durgrim hefts the giant hammer onto his shoulder and walks up to the prisoner. "I'll make it simple for ye. Have ye ever harmed innocents? Have ye spread yer disease? What will ye do if we let ye go?"

The she-wolf has a mocking look and a smirk as Durgrim ask her his question.

"Most likely, I'll die a slow horrible death as I waste away... The mysterious disease, remember? As for harming innocents, do you waste time asking the lioness if she's harming innocents when she hunts the gazelles? She has youngs to feed and protect, so does the gazelle. Who has more of a right to live there?"

When Janis storms out, Ujjaya turns to you and say. "I'll try and talk t him, reason with him. He may hot-blooded, but he's proven to be a competent fighter, perhaps a valuable ally in our fight against the darkness of this place. Farewell friends, I will return, hopefully with a more level headed Janis in tow."

With this, Ujjaya salutes you and leaves to follow Janis.

Darren shakes his head sadly, "It seems that you did not seek out this life, but were a victim as well in the beginning," he says, "That said, you have still done things that are unforgivable. I offer you the mercy of a swift death rather than suffering through this disease. If you'd like, I can say a prayer for you before we send you to the next life."

Once his words are spoken, he turns to look at his companions to see if this is an agreeable end to the predicament.

"I agree. A swift painless death was promised."
Apr 28, 2018 6:49 pm
"I agree too. We cannot bring her back to the village, the villagers would not allow it, not so soon after the undead plague."

"Aye. I we 'ave a Quorum. Between us we're the this land 'as to justice. If Ireena proclaims the sentence, and Daren offers last prayer, I shall be the Hammer of Justice." With a stoic face, Durgrim walks over to the prisoner. "Last words? And how would ye like to go? Standing free, or blind?"
Apr 28, 2018 8:55 pm
"And every death sentence earns a last request. What might yours be?"
Apr 28, 2018 9:16 pm
"Yes... I remember, we used to have mercy for our foes too... this seems like an eternity ago... By the Gods, what have I become? For what it is wroth, I am sorry, sorry for, all of this... I cannot atone for the pain I've inflicted. This place, it is accursed. Do not become like we did, do not succumb to the darkness, this is my last request. Let our fates be a reminded that the fight against the darkness is a horrendous, but valorous one. though some of us might fall to the darkness, others will rise to take our place and continue the fight."

She turns to Ireena.

"Please tell your people that I am truly sorry for the pain me and my friends have inflicted on them."

She then turns to Durgrim, tears streaming down her furred face.

"I am ready now."

With a nod, Durgrim brings the hammer down on her.
OOC:
Handwave this for story, or should I roll?

OOC:
We'll handwave it for story purpose. She's not resisting, you basically succeed a coup de grĂ¢ce.
Durgrim bring his hammer down on her neck, snapping it. Her death is instantaneous and hopefully painless. In death, she takes her humanoid shape, that of a half-elf woman.

Ireena then stands there for a moment, looking uncomfortable.

"Well, it's done. I'll tell the villagers about this, though I would not be surprised if many felt this apology to be too little too late... Hum, so what should we do with the bodies? I don't really feel comfortable waiting here with dead people while Heather waits for her time of prayer... Should we bury them?"
Apr 28, 2018 11:22 pm
Veroth points to the hot door. "There may be a place to burn them in there. Also, the door just locked itself, so there may be someone in the."
