No. The tower on the southwest of the map is probably around 12 feet high, with crenellations around the roof which are another 5 feet high. So no, you could not enter the tower through anywhere except the front door without a climb check. The two northernmost buildings have crumbled low walls which are between 3 to 4 feet high, except of course where doors used to be where the would will be much lower...

Given that the red is difficult terrain, I do believe this puts you directly behind Heather, still in the sub-level.

I am not sure how the stairs work for move distance. Is it only a 15 foot move to get to the top?

I am also trying to decide how much knowledge my character would have gleaned from the noises above. I think it would be reasonable to assume she felt the channel energy that was cast and heard the yell "They can drain your energy".

Would it be reasonable for her to assume a channel positive energy would be good to cast when she reached the top of the stairs? This should heal/damage a number of characters, but I don't know if I would be meta gaming or not.

Moving 15 ft. would take you exactly to where Darren is standing. And yes, you would have heard Weiryn yell about the energy drain.

@ Shanata: A Channel energy is a burst effect, it does not turn corners, so from where Heather is, she can only affect Veroth (who was inside the tower at the time Heather moved, before Qralloq moved him for his turn) , Darren, and the incorporeal undead, Weiryn will NOT be affected, are you sure you still want to channel energy at this point or perhaps switch your decision for a double move instead?

@ Qralloq: I am not quite sure Roland actually threatens the squares around himself: he is armed with pistols after all (unless he possesses an ability which allows him to threaten with ranged weapons), so I'm not sure if you do get any flanking and sneak attack bonuses on that attack...

That's gonna be a GM call from you kalajel. I have the ability to make melee attacks via pistol whip or using my pistol as an improvised weapon. So technically I can melee attacks. But it's an undefined area if the rules open to interpretation. I have found a link discussing it I will include here, and will abide by whatever decision you choose.
