Darren can feel an unnatural cold threatening his life force, but manages to push it back...

Durgrim is up next.

OOC:
Have we lost Azira? HE's no longer listed as one of my players? Or is this a bug? Well, I guess Durgrim can continue waiting while we sort this out and Heather and her wolves can take her turn...

OOC:
Have we heard anything new?

OOC:
He warned us early september that he got a new job and did not expect to have time to play.

OOC:
Alright, the site is fixed, we can try and finish this encounter.
Nov 2, 2018 4:26 am
So Heather and her wolves are up next.
Nov 3, 2018 3:21 pm
OOC:
Sorry for the delay guys, I couldn't get the sight to work for a few days.

Is it possible for me and Durgrim to switch places as our turn this round? Otherwise I son't think there is much I can do except have the wolves attack. Should I roll those attacks, or is it impossible for them to do damage?
Nov 3, 2018 4:28 pm
OOC:
Well, the problem is that since Azira has left the game, I no longer have stats for Durgrim, meaning I cannot play him for this fight. also, it is impossible for your wolves to damage that undead... Though, they could still provide an help another to Darren... Sorry, I have only bad news...
Edit: or you could send your wolves deal with the disturbance outside the tower. Through Ireena's screams, you are aware that might be one or more plant creatures outside the tower...

OOC:
Well, while we wait after Shanata/Heather, I guess Khotanos can always roll Adrith's initiative for next round...

I can't actually control the wolves, they will just attack the closest enemy. Because they are celestial beings they especially hate undead, so I think it's unrealistic that they would leave.

Quote:
This spell summons an extraplanar creature (typically an outsider, elemental, or magical beast native to another plane). It appears where you designate and acts immediately, on your turn. It attacks your opponents to the best of its ability. If you can communicate with the creature, you can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions.
OOC:
The fact that they attack to the best of their ability leads me to believe that summoned monsters would not waste time attacking a creature they are unable to hurt. Also, the fact that you can communicate with them and direct them leads me to believe that you are capable of controlling them. So I think that yes, you could tell them to use the aid another to help Darren, or you could sent them outside the tower to deal with the plant creature there.
Nov 8, 2018 2:39 pm
I assumed I couldn't communicate with them, but you are the DM. I will send them outside.

Heather will signal to the celestial wolves to break off and run outside. As they leave the building they will notice the giant plant and dash over to attack it.

As the celestial wolves close with the plant creature, it will make its attack of opportunity on the first of them (the one who's howling on its counter).

This wolf is hit for 17 points of damage and is grappled.

Darren is up next.

Darren smashes the undead before him, surprising both.

@Khotanos: I'm going to need a picture of Adrith so I can make a counter for him.
