OOC:
I gotta get rid of this sling... I selected it because I wanted to roleplay a character that didn’t like to carry "lethal" weapons, but dang, this thing sucks.
May 11, 2018 11:11 pm
OOC:
In fact, because you were more than 5 meters away from Eldrtich who has the candle, you are in complete darkness, so there was an additional -8 penalty for not being able to see anything...
Seeing there is more space for them to advance, the giant rats enter into the larger corridor, swarming Graptho who fall to the ground in screams of pain.
OOC:
Well, this will allow you to leave like you needed to Jabes. It was fun playing with you.
The one remaining giant rat in the smaller corridor continues to attack its original prey: Kanyil. The rat bites Kanyil for 1 point of damage.

Rolls

Rat's attack

Kanyil's DEF (CTN:9) - (1d20)

(5) = 5

OOC:
Am I able to use my Slayer Point to change my weapon at any time, or do I have to spend it on my turn?
May 12, 2018 1:47 am
Eldritch is incanting, ready to throw flame at the nearest rat.
May 12, 2018 2:23 am
Okay, Eldritch can shoot a rat after Ulfgar who got a slight initiative boost from waiting last round.

OOC:
Your initiative would place you last this round, so you can place yourself on the map once everyone else has played. Which remindes me, I should probably check with Starbeardo, it's been his turn for a while now...
May 17, 2018 4:35 am
Ah, finally!

With that Ulfgar takes the mightiest swing he can manage at the giant rat directly in front of him.

Rolls

Warhammer on rat (CTN 15) - (1d20)

(11) = 11

May 17, 2018 7:20 am
Eldritch lets loose his Fire Beam at the closest rat.

Rolls

Fire Beam 14 - (1d20)

(5) = 5

May 17, 2018 2:09 pm
OOC:
You guys forgot to roll the giant rat's DEF. I'm also not entirely sure you included the -2 penalty for attacking a small target (and assuming Eldrtich was targeting the same rat as Ulfgar, the one adjacent to him, he also forgot to foactor in the -2 penalty for attacking an adjacent target with a ranged attack/spell). although you both hit well within that margin...
Ulfgar gravely wounds his rat which Eldritch finishes off. You both get a Slayer Point.

Rolls

Ulfgar's Rat's DEF (CTN:5) - (1d20)

(5) = 5

Eldritch's Rat's DEF (CTN:5) - (1d20)

(6) = 6

May 17, 2018 2:17 pm
Barekeln will attempt to kill the rat in Grapthor's square, hoping it will then not be too late to save his dwarven brethren (it is, but he does not knows that).

"Shoo ye damn rat!"

Barekeln manages to damage the rat but not kill it. He gains a Slayer Point.

(Black Rat in front of Kanyil: -5HP. Brown Rat on Grapthot: -7HP)

Devin can now enter the fight.

Rolls

Barekeln's attack (MAT9-2 for attacking a smaller creature. Total CTN:7) - (1d20)

(7) = 7

Giant Rat's DEF (CTN:5) - (1d20)

(6) = 6

May 17, 2018 4:24 pm
OOC:
I don't see a token for Devin on the map
May 17, 2018 6:08 pm
OOC:
That's my laziness, rather than forgetting . As a player, I just like to roll and leave modifiers to the mighty GM :)

Devin moves down the hall and sees a group of people fighting some large rats. Gripping his spear tightly, he rushes forth to help! Reaching the rat chomping on the fallen dwarf, he stabs his spear at the animal.

OOC:
So, if I understand properly, I will roll 1d20 against my MAT (-2 since these things are small)? If I hit, then the rat rolls defense to possibly reduce the damage I dealt?

Rolls

Melee Attack (TN = 6) - (1d20)

(15) = 15

Rat Defense (TN = 5) - (1d20)

(17) = 17

May 18, 2018 9:59 pm
OOC:
Yep.
As Devin enters the ruins, he sees a small group of adventurers fighting giant rats. One of them in the robes of a Mage is olding the party's only source of illumination, a candle. There is an elf with a bot, two dwarves, with a third one lying unconscious on the floor, probably there source of the blood-curdling death scream...

He then approaches the nearest rat and strikes at it, missing it.

Third round!

Initiative
12 Feridir
9 Kanyil (10 with dagger)
8 Giant Rats
7 Eldritch
6 Ulfgar (back down to 6 after having acted)
6 Devin
5 Barekeln (back down to 5 after having acted)

Combat Map (The dwarves can place themselves in the large corridor. I put Kanyil and Feridir in the smaller corridor based on their action, and Eldritch at the entrance of teh smaller corridor in order to provide light to Kanyil)

Conditions
Giant Rats are small sized. Normal sized characters (the players) will take -2 on their attack against them. Giant Rat's DEF: 5.

Edit (forgot to keep track of the rats' HP): (Black Rat in front of Kanyil: -5HP. Brown Rat on Grapthot: -7HP)

Feridir is up.
May 19, 2018 5:34 pm
Hearing one of his companions get mauled by the rats, Feridir worries about the small Kanyil but he can not reach her so he shoots the rat that just killed his friend, hoping Kanyil is allright
OOC:
so ranged attack base 16, -2 because of the size - 2 +2 because attacking from behind.for a total of 16, using the slayer point to get the defence down again

Rolls

Ranged attack (tn = 14) - (1d20)

(7) = 7

rat defence (tn =4) - (1d20)

(18) = 18

OOC:
Given your current position it is impossible for you to shoot that rat as the wall of the corridor blocks your view from that rat. You can either move in front of the opened door and shoot that rat from there, or you can target a different rat.

OOC:
Sorry my brain is overworked, i thought it was implied that i moved into the corridor shoot and them move back ill edit my post :)
