OOC:
You sadly cannot do that. The game allows you to move and perform an action, or perform an action and move (mounted combat and some monsters that have a special ability to move before and after an action are the exceptions to that).

OOC:
hmmmmm that changes the things... let me edit my post and check the mapp again for the options, well im gonna clear the room then and change the target to the brown rat or grapthor

Feridir finishes off the rot which was on top of Grapthor. Kanyil is up next.

Kanyil accepts that trying to hit rats in the pitch black tunnel with a rock sling she’s already struggling with is almost entirely pointless. Preparing for another painful bite from the giant rat somewhere in the darkness in front of her, she squats down and unshoulders her pack, then digs one of her candles out and lighting it after tossing the sling inside.

As the light of the flame illuminates the small area around her, she looks down to see her own pet rat gazing up at her from the main pocket. "So many crappy decisions I made when I packed for this adventure, Tumbler...", she mutters.

She grabs the crowbar from one of her backpack’s straps and gets a firm grip on the end of it, holding it over her head in anticipation of the attack from the large rat she finally sees in front of her.
OOC:
Kanyil is going to stay where she is. She uses her action this round to light one of the candles in her inventory. I’m then going to spend her Slayer Point to use "Change Weapon", equipping her with her crowbar (WB +1)

The rats spill in the large corridor and... One rat will attack Barekeln while another will attack the newcomer Devin. Meanwhile, the rat in the smaller corridor attacks Kanyil but barely misses her. Seems like the sudden change in illumination of the corridor momentarily dazzled it...

Barekeln gets scratched for 4 points of damage, resulting in some dwarven expletives. The rat attacking Devin misses by a long shot.

Eldrtich is up next.

If you fire on the one standing on Grapthor's corpse, yes.
Eldtrich summons his magical powers to shoot at the giant rat next to him, but something fizzle inside of him and suddenly his mind goes blank. Eltrich has forgotten the spell he had activated and will need to make a spellchanging check next round to activate it again.

Ulfgar is up next.

Ulfgar brinds his warhammer down hard on the rat... and manages to smash its tail. Still he gets a Slayer Points for his troubles.

(Black Rat in front of Kanyil: -5HP, Greyish-brownish rat between Ulfgar and Barekeln: -2 HP).

Devin is up next.

Devin, a bit upset at the rat for having tried to bite him puts a little bit too much spite behind his attack... and ends up dropping his spear on the ground.

Barekeln stabs at the rat in front of him, the same one Ulfgar wounded. He however misses it.

Fourth round!

Initiative
12 Feridir
9 Kanyil (10 with dagger)
8 Giant Rats
7 Eldritch
6 Ulfgar
6 Devin
5 Barekeln

Combat Map (The dwarves can place themselves in the large corridor. I put Kanyil and Feridir in the smaller corridor based on their action, and Eldritch at the entrance of teh smaller corridor in order to provide light to Kanyil)

Conditions
Giant Rats are small sized. Normal sized characters (the players) will take -2 on their attack against them. Giant Rat's DEF: 5.

(Black Rat in front of Kanyil: -5HP. Grayish-brownish rat between Ulfgar and Barekeln: -2HP)

Feridir is up.
May 23, 2018 7:15 pm
OOC:
Is it possible for Feridir to step over/pass the giant rat in front of the door?
May 23, 2018 9:00 pm
OOC:
Sadly no. However, you can attempt a push back (see Pushing Back p.42). you could also try to leap or jump over it; it is a small animal after all...
May 26, 2018 9:36 pm
kalajel sent a note to Naatkinson,Qralloq
Feridir is still up...
May 27, 2018 1:58 pm
OOC:
sorry busy weekend just make it simple then attacking the rat thats near me, range attack, base 16 -2 because small -2 because adjacent and +2 from behind.also using the slayer point to lower the defence
Feridir shoots the rat that is in the room, thinking of the small halfling in the hallway hoping she is alright.

OOC:
Kanyil is not a halfling, she's a small human. Also, I assume oyu attack the wounded rat between Ulfgar and Barekeln (which would have netted you another -2 for attacking an adjacent enemy with a ranged attack)?
Feridir shoots the rat, further wounding it, but not killing it, though he still earns himself a Slayer Point.

(Black Rat in front of Kanyil: -5HP. Grayish-brownish rat between Ulfgar and Barekeln: -6HP)

Kanyil is up next.
May 27, 2018 3:13 pm
Able to see the rat in front of her finally, Kanyil attempts to smash the black rat in front of her with her crowbar.

Her aim is true enough, but the rat anticipates the attack and scurries to the side of the swing.

A large, female warrior runs into the hallway from outside. She is dressed in light clothing, with leather vambraces and greaves for armor. She has a spear in one hand, and three more in the other, and a backpack over her shoulders. Tribal tattoos on her face stems downwards from her eyes unevenly, and from the lower left side of her mouth.

"Devin," she hisses. "There are goblins outside. I didn't see where... who are these... rats!"

She rushes forward to her companions side and strikes at the nearest rat.
