Devin spends several long minutes shifting through the debris and only seems to come up with rotted cloth and wood splinters...

Woodroya guards the door, watching the hallway.

Dang, used the wrong check earlier. Well, guess we got lucky that it wasn't trapped!
Berryn follows Devin into the room and aids him in his search.

Berryn decides to go help out Devin in searching the room. A few minutes later, he feels something in the pocket of a rotted robe. Pulling it out, he sees a silver pendant which represents a stylized sun... probably a holy symbol of Helia. This seems to indicate that you indeed have found the ruins to an ancient temple of Helia.

"Ah, It seems we're on the right path. Let's see what else this ruin is hiding."
OOC:
Berryn will head out into the hallway, assuming the rest of the party is ready as well.

OOC:
there was no other door in here right? If so Netderath would have left the room and waited by the fork.

OOC:
No visible doors.

Netdraeth walks out and heads to the intersection awaiting the others who are invesgitating the room. Net woudl go up a bit and kick some of the rubble around while waiting.

OOC:
Kicking up rubble in the room the party is in or kicking up rubble at the collapsed stairway?
Jan 12, 2019 3:16 am
Netdraeth goes to kick some rubbles. After a couple of minutes of doing so, there is a small collapse but it falls about 30 centimetres (about a foot) to the left of Netdraeth without harming him. However, the sound of the falling stone seems to rouse out something further down the dark corridor as something big loudly growls...

"Ready yourselves, we've attached attenton." Woodroya readies her spear and faces the growly noise, stepping in front of the others.
Jan 12, 2019 7:04 pm
Woodroya rushes, as best she can through the darkness, to Netdraeth's location at the other corridor while alerting the rest of the party who are still rummaging through the room.
Jan 13, 2019 6:32 am
Devin follows Woodroya and Netdraeth to see what's going on.

Romana makes the sign of the Eternal Wheel over herself, then races out to join her comrades. She begins mentally readying her Flame Beam spell as her fingers begin weaving the foundations of the spell.
Jan 13, 2019 12:31 pm
Berryn joins the party, standing near Romana, he readies his fire beam spell.
Jan 13, 2019 5:31 pm
As teh party, and the light source, reaches Netdraeth's location the elves and dwarves in the party can finally see the rest of the corridor and the source of the growling (the humans being only able to see about 5 meters into the corridor thanks to Kanyil's lit candle). Near a set of copper double doors a bear is standing on it's hind legs, growling and being generally intimidating. Though the bear is not charging, it is obvious it wants the party out of there. Eventually, two bear cubs peak their heads from between the larger bear's legs, giving you a good indication as to why the bear is acting that way.
