He wipes his hands on his pants and continues to the next room.

And next room would be... Remember, you are in a coridor with 4 entrances. From where you are you see another door right in front of you, then there are another two entrance just north from where you are...

Netdraeth opens the door and finds no ants, but what looks to be some priest's sleeping chambers. For some odd reason, these quarters are not as in a bad condition as the furniture in the rest of the complex. He can see a slightly rotted bed, a chest, a desk, and a wardrobe, each decorated with carvings of Helia's holy symbol.

All Mage classes have an innate ability to analyze magic as noted on p.45 of the rulebooks. You are still limited to 1 attempt per magic item, so spells like Detect Magic and Identify Magic are a nice back up to have. Do you still change your spell?

Romana opens her magical senses and manages to detect magic on the helmet. Having felt the helmet's magic, she then touches it and successfully identifies the enchantment on it. Romana determines it is a +1 metal helmet.

OOC:

Your HP looks fine. Remember that unlike other RPGs, you do not have a HD or gain HP every level. The 3 methods to increase your HP when levelling up are:
1) Increase your Body and or Constitution score.
2) Spend Progression Points to purchasse HP.
3) Take the Endurance talent.
There is technically a 4th way: finding a magic item which gives extra HP, but this might be rare... This means that your HP will pretty much almost always be equal to your BOD+CO+10.
