The three of you pile into the Ford Americar with Johnson in tow. You head down the street. Wyvern pings her agent and it seems that so far they are in the clear. It is 11.00 before you get back to the Barrens and away from any chance Errant could follow you.

Wyvern gets a message on her comm "We are still on for later this evening right? I know you get busy and forget important things like meeting your brother."

What would you all like to do with the Johnson that Greer saved?

I created a Karma 'N' Nuyen subforum (stole the idea from metagamegate) to keep track of your awards. I changed the Character Sidestory forum to Character Downtime. It can be found here We can discuss how you spend your Karma and money and raise skills and such there.

The crew jumps into the Ford Americar and follows gps the 3 blocks to the stuffer shack. The stuffer shack is run down with the analog sign reading "Stuff hack" with what looks like someone having shot out the missing letters. Just as you pull out to the back of the shack you see a rotund gnome come out of the back door quickly. He is wearing a business suit and carrying a briefcase.

She's in AR at the moment, and if she doesn't see her mark she'll reboot her deck, since that means he already has. I think she should be able to see her mark no matter what, if I'm reading p. 235 right.
Wyvern scans the area looking for her mark.

The chubby, well not chubby, fat really, gnome looks at the ford Americar and begins to run.

Wyvern points at the fleeing gnome and says, "My mark's gone, but 20 nuyen says that's the guy. I don't have anything non-lethal, Greer, do you want to do the honors? Or new guy?"

Greer flashes a wolfish smile as he sees the short gnome stumbling away. "Time to learn a bit about our competition," he says, as he looks down his stubby taser.

He fires.

The gnome can't move his body fast enough to dodge. The taser darts pierce his armor, he loses all control and he drops the briefcase on the ground. Eventually he stops contorting on the ground long enough to scream. "What the frag are you doing?! First the creepy guy takes over my Stuffer Shack now you guys taser me."

Wyvern sees a skinny human on the other side of the shack. He is just getting on a motorbike. Yuup. That's the guy!

Greer sighs and reloads his taser as he holds up a finger to the gnome as if saying "hold one moment."

The motorbike is a bit far, but Greer takes aim once again at the skinny human. Greer's stubby little taser shoots once again.

Greer fires, but it's likely that the target is further away. Range increments for taser are 5/10/15/20, where anything past 5 meters takes a -1 penalty. Maximum range is 20 meters, or a little over 60ft.

I'm rolling with no penalties, so you can add/subtract as needed.

The decker sees Greer take aim and jumps behind his bike. The taser darts ping harmlessly off the plaschrome body of the vehicle. The decker reaches down and pulls out a pistol. He aims and pulls the trigger. The Colonel almost dodges but the bullet pierces his left temple taking off a large chunk of flesh.

The Colonel staggers but is still standing.
