Ripping Judgement out of the hound's clamped down jaws, Kray slashed at the hound with a residual drag from pulling the blade free. Bringing the blade further back, Kray pivoted left and drove the blade hard, just past his shield, thrusting toward another one of the infernal mutts.

Unnecessary saving throw vs Z's missed attack successful. Ha.

Two attacks (Z then X).

3 through 6

The middle hound is startled when his victim is snatched out from under him just before he can lock his jaws for the kill. Furious, it growls and leaps forward to grab Thorn. Kray is there to block the way though; the hound cannot pass. It has to deal with a new foe.

Hound Y Move to Kray.

Trece wastes no time. With the sudden emergence of new enemies in the room, he strikes at the biggest danger of all: Uburatu.

When Trece stabs for the kill though, Uburatu turns in and draws back at the last moment. Trece's spoon knife is deflected off of Uburatu's armor collar.

Trece Attack 1 Miss

Akkeen, surprised by the explosion of action, was already drawing out the retardant powder. Suddenly Uburatu is unleashed! Without even thinking, Akkeen begins backing away instinctively.

Akkeen draws powder bag, beginning Movement away from Uburatu

Iasu continues to drag Thorn. "Fall back!" he says to Namtur when he sees him.

Namtur, still suffering from the grievous wound, is slow to move. Still he takes up his shield and follows alongside his brother, providing overwatch and as good of a line of protection as he can while Iasu begins to assess his patient's wounds.

Iasu and Namtur Movement

Trece follows the missed stab with a fast jab. Uburatu throws his shoulder up to partially deflect the blow, but the expert strike still lands.

Trece Attack 2 Hit

Kray slashes downward at the hound that closes in to his right. The dog barely jumps out of the way before Kray cleaves it in half.

Kray Attack 1 v. Hound Z Hit

Bryn drops the torch and leans into a dash to follow Kray. He snatches his weapons from his belt and sights in on the closest dog.

Bryn Movement and Dual Weapon Draw

Uburatu slings his shield outward violently. The huge bronze metal slab hits Trece head on and threatens to knock him over.

The bull hears the hounds first then smells them. When it looks over the pack is marauding a friend. The big bull's muscles quake as it trots into motion, it's hooves clopping on the stone as it picks up speed.

Bull Maeriks Movement towards Hound X

Akkeen almost backs into the bull before he catches himself. The bull runs just behind him. Akkeen looks left and approaches the wild melee at the hounds, trailing just along behind the bull. When the rumbling animal bears left, Akkeen shifts out from behind it and ducks in behind Bryn and Kray.

Akkeen Movement to short range for powder throw

Kray shifts from one target to another, this time slicing at the left most hound, which seems to be the pack leader. The Otessite blade chops to keep the big hound back.

Kray Attack v. Hound X Hit

Bryn slides by the outside hound, trying to land a killing blow while the dog is snapping at Kray. But the fiendish canine is highly alert and turns back sensing the danger. Bryn stabs with the knife, but the hound jumps back out of range and barks fiercely.

Bryn Attack with Sneak v. Hound Z Miss

Namtur stands clear but takes notice as the big bull stomps by, accelerating into a charge. The muscular red-skinned man is still struggling with his grave injuries, but he watches in amazement as the bull storms right past him.
"Hutesh!" Namtur shouts loudly, enthusiasm in his husky voice. "Sha, Bukal Maeriks!"

Bryn keeps the pressure on the right hound and nicks it with his kukri.

Bryn Bonus Action Off Hand Attack v. Hound Z Hit

The bull is in full steam now and lowers its head down, intent on crashing into the big alpha dog on the left.

Required Action, Maeriks: Attacks v. Hound X

Akkeen takes advantage of a quick opening between Bryn and Kray. The young tattooed man throws the bag of powder right at the vicious hound just after Bryn strikes it.

Although Kray's Heshaban was far less than fluent, he knew enough to understand. Especially the word kill. Shifting subtly back and to his right, Kray brought his shield in tight as he zeroed in on the hound marked by Akeen.

Hound Z marked for death. Check.

The bull crashes into the hound, twisting its horns at the moment of impact to throw off the hound's balance, then drives the hound back and rears up. Recovering its stance, the hound rears up as the bull does, hooves and paws parry one another for a few beats before the bull clips the hound's shoulder.

The force of the shield hits so hard that it drives Trece to the stone floor. From the ground, Trece throws another punch, trying to maintain the pressure so that he is not overrun while he is down and more vulnerable.

Uburatu blocks the strike.

There is a clank and a scraping of metal on metal behind the shield and then the warlord draws out a bronze sword in his right hand. Suddenly Uburatu is rearmed and ready for battle.

OOC:
Hyp, I'm going to call audible on this.

There is enough circumstance and effects that might change things - want to get your input to go in one of two directions.

I would like to make the assumption, hope it is right, that Trece would get up from Prone Condition ASAP to avoid further vulnerability. No matter which way we go, this could at least take away Advantage condition from Uburatu's upcoming Attacks if they are to come, depending on the timing of the sequence.

Trece already had Movement programed into his Announced Sequence. He was going to move to the khopesh and kick it further away. That seems Overtaken by Events (OBE) now that Uburatu is rearmed.

So...could the Movement be used in another way?
Yes, I think so in the Stand Up effort.
Also, yes, I think that Trece COULD just angle away as he does the Stand Up, and Move away from Uburatu for the remainder of Movement.

I'm thinking the Stand Up from Prone is 15'. I want to consult with you to see if want to have Trece Move away for whatever remaining Movement he has after that.

Not guaranteeing what would happen. Uburatu would still make his choices according to his motivations.
He could pursue Trece, or he could elect to shift gears and do something else with that Action Surge remainder of his Action other than stand toe-to-toe and keep hitting at Trece.

Movement by Trece will just readjust the circumstances, and then we'll see what happens from there.

So let me know...
Required Action, Trece: Choose adjusted Action
1) Complete Stand Up, hold position, and remain adjacent to opponent Uburatu
2) Make Stand Up a blend with Movement and relocate away from opponent Uburatu
Jan 22, 2019 5:17 pm
OOC:
Yeah, I've been wanting to change my movement ever since I learned Uburatu had a spare blade behind his shield and kicking the one on the ground would be redundant but wasn't sure if I could with this weird initiative system. I'll op for number 1.

Edit: adding save here to keep your round 2 pristine.

Even as Uburatu fights, his head is on a swivel paying attention to the battlefield around him. He takes notice of Iasu, Namtur, and Am keen converging not so far away.

Uburatu steps closer to them as much as he can without letting his guard down as he faces the relentless Seetan. Over his shoulder, Uburatu calls out in his heavy voice, speaking in Otessite.
