Attack 1 Hit
Attack 2 Hit

Thorn unleashes a combination of strikes that overwhelms the hefty Heshbaan attacker. Urdav's blade slashes once and then twice, and the spearman split open. Blood and gore spill out onto the deck of the Keshet.

Thorn notices that the blood instantly spreads in dilution. The Keshet is taking on water, seeping up from the floor.

Ezeriah says:
Kray called back as he approached the first boarders. "You should send someone able to take it then!" Kray drew Serpent's Judgement as he leisurely approached Valates' men. "Or perhaps you'll join us on deck once you've finished pissing yourself!"
From the higher deck, Valates bursts forth from a sea of Heshbaan mercenaries to the edge of the longship rail. Spotting Kray knocked over, the veteran Korvaran captain smirks and gives a contemptuous laugh as he fires a bow in Kray's direction.

Boats Review

The Keshet is now cluttered with the dead and crowded in close combat. Battlers are stacked in close to one another on the narrow ship. In all of the commotion it is challenging to move about without tripping over something or someone.

The oil fire that burst up moments ago still burns on part of the stern railing and deck.

Damaged from the impact has caused a slow leak. There is apparently a crack underneath the deck, and water is seeping in somewhere at the stern. Again, it is a slow leak. There is no imminent sinking of the ship within seconds, but it will be a problem eventually.

After the hit, the grapplers and pole hookers were unable to complete a good catch. Now that the momentum is set in for both boats, The Keshet is setting off on a gradual counter clockwise spin. The port bow is turning to port as the Korvaran longship pushes onward and presses stern towards starboard quarter.

A separation between the boats is happening to a degree. At least the Korvaran bow is rolling away from The Keshet stern. Though the Keshet seems to be beginning a course of being spun alongside the longship's port bow. But all that being said, the boats are still very close together at this point.

Opponent and Battle Space Review

On the deck of the Keshet, there are 6 active boarded enemies:
3 Heshbaan Raider skirmishers (1 injured)
3 Mercenary Myrmidons (1 injured)

All are crowded at the back near the stern. That section of the boat is packed.

Thorn is furthest to the back near the stern. He is close combat with a Myrmidon with a skirmisher supporting just behind the Myrmidon, and the injured raider 1 step further back still.

Ivor is the next forward (moving from back stern to front bow). He is right beside the now-injured myrmidon that knocked down Kray and then got stabbed at reach by Maeriks.
There is another Myrmidon facing Ivor for attack, with a skirmisher backing him up one step behind.

So Ivor and Thorn are the ones who are really in the front line clash at this point.

Just forward of all that clutter is Kray on the deck Prone. The first Myrmidon is still bearing down on him.

Maeriks is right beside/slightly behind Kray. He has provided some cover and response against the myrmidon that knocked Kray down.

Bryn is further forward a few steps more near a grouping of cargo just forward of the center midship mast.

Again, there are bodies that were already on The Keshet before and in the last seconds three more were dropped on the deck (the other went overboard)

On the Korvaran longship, there are still a dozen or more troops, rowers, javelin throwers, shieldmen. Probably no more than 20 though.

Kray held on to his blade as he deftly evaded Valates' arrows. Rolling up off of the wet deck, he made a mental note of the seeping water coming up. His eyes turned to Valates' ship.

Might be time to commandeer a new vessel.

His voice rose again above the din of battle as he brought metal to bear against the Myrmidon. "Gentlemen!" Kray gave the big man next to him an amused look. "And Maeriks! We are taking that ship or sinking it with her crew!"

Dice to attack the Myrmidon that Maeriks injured.

I say we take the ship. At least try. Kill Valates and we might be able to press the crew into service. Like straight up pirates. Or privateers.

Either way we need to get off our ship.

"I Heshbeen... hehehe" Still chuckling to himself while javelins sail past, Maeriks steps up adjacent to the Myrmidon standing over Kray close to Ivor, slides his leading hand up the glaive shaft dropping the blade low. As he steps in close to the Myrmidon, he smashes at him with the center of the weapon's thick shaft. He then quickly brings the shaft up over the man's head and pulls it in, grappling the fool and ushering him toward the railing.

Edit: I missed Ez's action. Looks like my target is probably dead. Switching to the Myrmidon facing Ivor.
- If the grapple is successful, I want to move him to the edge of the boat and toss him overboard. I'm assuming that will require a shove, but will be perfectly happy to just use movement to drop him without action cost.
- If the grapple is not successful, then I'll make an attack against him.
- If the throwing overboard doesn't require a shove action, then I attack the raider behind the one I grappled.
- If I'm not currently grappling at the end of my turn, I'll be ready to attack anyone who moves into range.

(Adding all the dice for expediency.)

I'm "on board" with taking the other ship. Either that or we sink both, finish this battle Tcho-Tcho Spec Ops style with our reserve LUBAs we no doubt still carry with us.

"Right, Mercon!"

Thorn dodges another spear thrust. A javelin sails through the air between him and his opponent, bouncing off the deck and into the river.

Thorn uses the Myrmidon's momentum against him, turning his dodge into an attempt to trip his foe. He has very little space to swing Urdav's blade, so he contents himself for the time being with skewering the Myrmidon in the back.

Round 2
Maeriks, Kray, Ivor, Thorn
OOC:
Y'all, I'm combining these, blending them together quite a bit. Keeping the direction you gave as close as possible, but making small adjustments based on impacts of your buddies' hits that are occurring all around you. So that may mean small target changes that make sense to the characters.
Kray shifts to the side and then heaves up to a crouch, slinging the Serpent Judgement low across the belly of the Heshbaan myrmidon who had knocked him to the deck. The burly man's guts spill out and he falls forward in shock, dropping his spear and shield.

Seeing the closest opponent felled, Maeriks moves towards the stern of the ship. As he comes even with Ivor, Maeriks bashes a Heshbaan mercenary in the shoulder with the butt of his glaive. As the soldier spins back a step, Maeriks moves forward still and tries to grapple the bearded warrior.

Thorn slashes hard and low at the beefy Heshbaan that faces off against him, seeking to knock him from his feet. The soldier is too sturdy to fall, but Urdav's blade cuts deep through the muscle of the man's leg, opening the femoral artery. The big mercenary falls, a panicked look on his face as he sees his lifeblood gushing down his leg, soaking his sandal wraps and spreading rapidly in the thin level of water on the stern deck.

Maeriks is unable to manhandle the big myrmidon, but Kray slices the Heshbaan across the back as he is distracted by Maeriks' assault. The pain of the cut makes the man arc his back and throw his shield out wide in reaction. Seeing the opening, Maeriks chops down with his glaive, raking a huge slash down the Heshbaan's torso from right shoulder to left hip. The Heshbaan falls so hard backward that Kray has to sidestep quickly to avoid being knocked back as well.

Seeing the cluttered space immediately ahead of him, Ivor makes a deft leap towards the rail. With the expertise of an experienced shipman, the big Dannein sets one foot on the rail, tucks in to sidestep the commotion of Kray, Maeriks, and the myrmidon, and then shoves back in towards the deck right when he passes them. As he lands, Ivor slaps his net over on top of the spearman behind the myrmidon. Caught off guard, the Heshbaan is powerless to resist as Ivor stabs him in rapid succession, first in the stomach and then in the side of the head.

Thorn steps out quickly with a strong forward thrust, driving Urdav's blade right through the chest of the next Heshbaan raider, breaking at least two ribs as the sword crashes through the man's organs and emerges out of his back. Thorn sees the man's eyes go wide with surprise as he realizes his own death.

Having cleared the deck of five adversaries in mere seconds, all four of the warriors step forward towards the last opponent still standing, the original raider injured by Maeriks' javelin throw. Still clutching his wound, the Heshbaan backs up against the rails. Horrified, he drops his javelin and freezes up, paralyzed with fear.
OOC:
Ox, from the layout with Bryn further away near the midship of the boat, I'm going to say that it would be impossible for Bryn to even see this last guy. All of your buddies are in the way.
There are targets on the higher deck of the longship however. Valates himself is not seen, but there is a line of hook and polemen and javelin throwers etc. right along the railing.
