When the heavy iron chandelier crashes down on the floor near the Golem, Sizhen quickly moves over to manipulate the chain. He gathers up the slack
Sizhen begins to form ideas of how to wrap and restrain the monster using the heavy chain system.
OOC:
Len, I'm thinking of this almost like Sizhen is coming up with an improvised Net-like devise. I think it is a two part plan that would take at least two rounds to execute:
1) get an anchor hold on the Golem first, some way to hold the chain on legs, hips, etc. and leave a running end length for entangling
2) wrap the running edge around somehow, likely in a mixture of thrown loops and encircling passes
So I picture step one underway now. How to get the anchor point started? One thing I think could work would be to actually get him to step into chandelier itself, loop his arm through it, get it over his head, etc. and then pull the running chain length to get it taunt. Opened to other ideas on this too for the narrative. Whatever it is, will seem to fit narratively as a part of the overall idea of Insightful Fighting success.
On mechanics, Improvised Weapons Disadvantage? Maybe. Sizhen is certainly not "proficient" in this attack system, but I dig the use of setting material to pull off crazy scenes, so no Disadvantage. Right now this will be a normal Attack, in the way of a Net. Which Ability Modifier to apply? I think it has to be STR. I can see a bit of an appeal for DEX, but overall it is going to take some muscle to heave that in there and get it hooked into place and anchored.
After that result is in, we'll manage mechanics for step 2 and beyond as we go. So if you are game...
