That went better than last time. Mantra says to the others while standing outside of the tailor's. They didn't even try to poison us once. The name's Mantra. He says, realising that they don't even know each other's names.

OOC:
how long do we have until the party? is it hours or days?
Names davrick and i dont think they tried to poison us because working with Cyrus is more dangerous than any poison from what i have heard but its a job.

As you say, it is a shame to be associated with Cyrus and it is only by necessity. But you will be glad to know it is he, who is funding our fitting today. So please dear Lady spare no expense in our outfits and may both our joy at your clothes and your costs both be at his expense
OOC:
Sorry this didnt refresh before i posted

Petrev is my name, lets go have a drink and a meal and talk this through. Should we go terrorise Cyrus some more and eat for free or do you think he might poison us with a bit more effort this time?

Momo extended his hand to each of the crew saying to each of them "Hello. I am Momo." After introducing himself, Momo asked them, "Is this a real job? Why did Cyrus ambush us?" While waiting for an answer, Momo sat on the ground and placed his new outfit, still neatly wrapped, in his lap and pet it like a newly born kitten.

I believe it was actually the barkeep, judging by Cyrus's displeasure but I'd rather not go back unless I have to, no matter who did it. Lets just find a bread cart and hand out in an alley somewhere while we figure out how we're gonna complete this impossible mission.

Hello Momo, I'm Petrev.
It is a real job, though it does smell somewhat wrong.
I dont know if Cyrus really wanted us harmed. Like a rooster, he wanted us to know who is the boss. Don't worry, when we are done and paid we will certainly pay him back for it. How does that sound?

I would recommend we stop into the copper lion and scope out our competition, see if we cant deter them early as to avoid any complications in our goal

Today is Monday, the party is on Wednesday evening. It will take a day and a half of brisk travelling to get to Othorion's country manor (ie if the party leave tomorrow morning, they will arrive around noon Wednesday, if they are not delayed en route.) The town of Peshtar is near to the manor, and the Copper Lion is that town's tavern.

Assuming all of this is known by me and it's still about 10 am ......
Yeah, we should once we get to the town. What about we leave about noon today so we have a night and a morning to find out what they're up to? Now that we have the clothes and invitations, there's nothing to stay here for.

And as for the plan for the heist, we should wait until we know more because Cyrus didn't give us much to go on.

I'll wait for party consensus about what you want to do.

Well, despite a wish to torment Cyrus. Being about the task is best done soonest. Let's be on our way.
Dec 22, 2017 5:42 am
And you two? Mantra asks, gesturing to Momo and Davrick.

Momo stands up, reminding those nearby of just how monstrously sized he is. "Ok, but do we have to walk?"
Dec 22, 2017 4:43 pm
Im all set, I dont know if there are any beasts big enough in this town for you momo, but if you would like you can carry me
Dec 22, 2017 6:04 pm
What's wrong with a little walking? I'd rather walk than pay for a wagon.
Dec 23, 2017 4:44 am
Lets see if we can convince a local wagoneer that Cyrus is picking up the tab.
petrev asks a local merchant if he may know of anyone with a spare wagon?
The Merchant scowls at Petrev's mention of Cyrus, turning away.

Below is edited out.
Petrev wanders over to a local merchant and asks if they know who is Cyrus's prefered transport provider.

For obtaining a wagon, this is what I'd like to do (individuals may opt out if they want their character to go do something else in the meantime):
-Each player (in any order) make a DC 12 skill check (12 or better succeeds) and edit their post to describe how the success or failure brought the party closer to getting a wagon (or created a problem, if they failed). Include an updated pass/fail tally and list of which skills have been used so far.
-After a skill has been used once, it can no longer be used by anyone for the remainder of this process.
-After everyone has acted once, repeat, until we have tallied 4 successes or 4 failures.
-If the party succeeded, you have obtained a wagon and 2 horses and made it clear out of the city.
-If the party failed... we'll see when we get there.
-If you need clarification on any of this just ask.

Mantra leans into Cyrus's meeting room. You gonna pay for a wagon?
OOC:
I'd say he could still say no.
