Mantra recalls: Goblins mythologise their ancestral heroes, elevating them to demi-godhood and using tales of their strength, opportunism and ruthlessness as fables to instruct their young. Religious rites are highly variable, being strongly influenced by the current shaman of a particular tribe. Goblins in this area are not known for humanoid sacrifice, but are known to take slaves.

Davrick letting his instincts of survival kick in starts looking around him to see if he can find a small rock or stick that he might be able to sneak and free himself from his bonds.

Mantra flips from his hogtied, prone position and attempts to discreetly slip his hands from his bonds.

Mantra is able to free his hands, but a sentry notices the movement and makes his way over to check on the prisoner.

Mantra quickly, doing the somatic components behind his back, creates a minor illusion 50ft away in the opposite direction of grass rustling and people yell-whispering "come on guys, not far now" and suchlike. He makes sure its just barely audible to him and the sentry. Enough for him to notice in the night silence.

The goblin turns his back to Mantra and looks in the direction of the noise.

Mantra makes it move farther away before making the distant sound of someone falling over and making a stifled scream.

Davrick secrets away his implement without being noticed.

The sentry that was about to check on Mantra creeps over to the other goblin sentry, and the two begin a whispered conference.

Petrev decides that since no one else is going to rest and recover their strength, that it is time to be on our way. Firstly i attempt to free my hands, then i pretend to fit, causing the guard to come check on me, which is when i will attempt to lift a dagger from the guard.

Petrev manages to slip his hands free of his bonds. The coughing fit doesn't seem to fool the sentries, but the ruse serves Petrev's purpose regardless. Evidently connecting Petrev to the strange voices, a sentry rushes over and clamps his hands around Petrev's throat, trying to silence him. Petrev deftly locates a dagger on the goblin's belt and nearly succeeds in drawing it before the sentry realises. The goblin releases his grip on Petrev's neck and tries to wrest back the dagger.
OOC:
Petrev please make an Athletics roll. If you beat the goblin's score you gain possession of the dagger.

I guess it is time to go Davrick thinks as he is watching everyone else stir. He slices his bonds with his crude implement and will go to free anyone else who is still tied up.

OOC:
All PCs are now freed from their bonds. They have their packs with them (intact) but not their weapons (although Petrev has the dagger). One sentry is intent on the woods, still misled by Mantra's illusionary sounds, and the other is preoccupied by the struggle for the dagger. In a moment, however, they will realise what is happening and try to rouse the sleeping goblins. In mechanical terms: the party has one combat round to act, before the sleeping goblins begin to wake up. Players may act in any order.
