Davrick seeing his opening like any good rogue would do starts to make his way thru the crowd that is distracted picking what he can from unsuspecting viewers. His small height allows him to pass between people with out breaking their line of sight with the fight that has started. He looks down at his daggers concealed inside his sleeves thinking about joining but has another thought

I should help them but i cant pass up such a good opportunity to make some coin from the distraction that has presented itself.

He weaves thru the crowd using the commotion to make contact and make it feel like someone is just trying to get a better view of what is going on. He goes from one patron to the next lifting what he can before ending is run sticky fingers at the front of the crowd watching to see if the loud mouths can back up all their talk with their fighting skills or if they are going to get him killed on this mission. He keeps his trusty daggers concealed but ready to drop into the palms of his hands at a moments notice if it should come to that while he watches the fight.

Petrev's riposte scores a deep wound across his attacker's belly. Suddenly losing all appetite for the fight, the thug stumbles away, clutching his stomach. Finding himself alone, outnumbered and over-matched, the remaining thug decides discretion is the better part of valour and books it towards the front door.

Meanwhile, Errol the dwarf hauls an ashen-faced, sobbing barkeep into Cyrus' office.
OOC:
Petrev and Momo may make opportunity attacks on the fleeing thugs, if they wish.

Davrick manages to purloin something interesting from a distracted patron. I'm taking suggestions from other players as to what this item is – best suggestion gets an Inspiration token. Send me your idea in a PM.

It didnt have to end in bloodshed, i warned you to come bare knuckled, but, No. Lets hope you survive.
Now Barmaid, that poor bleeding fool, your bartender and most importantly your boss, just brought us all the drinks we want and another fucking meeting.
So get about your job and get us our drinks, some food and a nice quite table where we can talk.

Momo's hulking arms rebounded from the first swing and pulled the hammer back around towards the mean men. His old sergeant always told him to keep swinging until no one was left standing, so Momo kept swinging.

Rolls

attack with maul - (1d20+5)

(11) + 5 = 16

Damage if attack hits - (2d6+3)

(66) + 3 = 15

Momo's hammer clips his former assailant on the back of the head as he turns to flee. The thug collapses atop his floored companion, joining him in unconsciousness.

'Y-Yes, whatev-ever you w-want,' stammers the barmaid, who spills alcohol all over the bar as she hurriedly pours a round of drinks.
Dec 18, 2017 4:16 pm
Observers can see Mantra's eyes light up with flame as he yanks the dagger out of the unconscious ruffian and goes over to the bar where the barmaid is pouring drinks. The ground resumes it's tremors and the candles burn red and high. He leans in Was this some kind of trick? A test? Not your idea? Because, believe me, I don't like to be poisoned in a way that makes my spells suck. Mantra will then stab the bloody dagger into the wooden bar, pick up a mug, and thow the mug at the top-shelf gin before dissipating the illusions, walking to the table where Patrev is sitting, and sitting down.
OOC:
I'm rolling with advantage. If you don't think it's deserving, take the first one.

Rolls

To scare the barmaid (with advantage if you are so kind as to grant it for my magical stuff) - (1d20+3, 1d20+3)

1d20+3 : (6) + 3 = 9

1d20+3 : (20) + 3 = 23

Dec 18, 2017 4:51 pm
The bottles on the top shelf explode in a shower of glass and liquor. The barmaid shrieks and drops behind the bar. Although out of sight, her panicked sobs can be heard. Seeing the violence spread beyond the initial confrontation spurs the remaining patrons to leave – being sure to give the PCs a wide berth as they make their exit.

Momo began walking lightly around the now smashed and broken furniture, moving toward the front door. No reason to damage anything more than it already is, he thought. As the new crew exited The Faithful Friend, Momo reached up and removed the sign. He stared at it for a second before snapping it into pieces with his bare hands. "They should use a different name."

Davrick is standing outside with his back against the wall counting the coin he was able to lift from patrons and looking at the other loot he was able to lift. When the others make it outside he is standing reading a letter with a sour look on his face.

Well if you all have finished your pissing contest i think we may have an issue we may have to rethink any plans that we have thought of

he hands the letter to mantra

Our friend Big O is throwing a party in three days. Big opportunity. Magic. Eanhed's cousin is a guard, can get us invited. If interested, meet us at the Copper Lion in Penshaw at noon the day of the party.

Shand

Ill meet you at the tailors shop shortly, have something i need to take care of

with that he heads down a dark alley to make a quick stop at the temple of Lathander and tosses any coins he gathered in the pub to the priest that is inside and quickly turns to make his way to Taylor

The party retreat to their various lodgings. After an uneventful night, they meet at Taylor's haberdashery the next morning. As they enter, they are greeted by Taylor, a willowy, blue-eyed blonde with a musical voice. She is wearing a flowing blue gown, studded with tiny gemstones that shimmer as she moves, split at the thigh to display a splendid set of legs to full advantage. 'Hi! My name's Taylor, but people sometimes call me Swift, because I work so quickly, and these,' she indicates her assistants with the sweep of an arm, 'are my Swifties. They can perform miracles, I assure you. Here, your wildest sartorial dream can become reality! So what can I do for you today?'

OOC:
Robago, I would prefer, from now on, that we decide what we want to do instead of being told we are going somewhere or going back to our lodgings or whatever. Also, I was unaware it was evening.
Hellew! Mantra says, suddenly adopting a similar tone to Swift and an outrageously posh accent Me and my friends are attending Sir Othorion's party and we all wanted new outfits to celebrate the occasion. Do you think you could help us with that?

OOC:
Endermun, of course – but players have to tell me what they are doing. Everyone had posted, with no indication of doing anything other than going to the tailor, so to the tailor we went. In cases like that, it's my prerogative to time lapse things to keep the game moving. I had mentioned that the time was late evening in an earlier post, which contributed to the time-lapse, as there is little to do at the time of night.
'Lord Othorion's party! How wonderful,' Taylor says. 'You'll want the latest fashion in doublet and hose.' She leans in close and says in an exaggerated stage whisper, 'I hear the whole thing is an attempt to impress a new lady friend. Do come back and tell me all about it.' With a snap of her fingers a swarm of assistants descend upon the players, measuring and fitting a set of fine clothes for each of them.

OOC:
i cant tell if they was ment as a rick and morty reference too or not
Yes we are wishing to hopefully get in with a good crowd to help us further our standing in the city and her Lord Orthorion is one of the best to get in good with. I wouldnt mind getting a look at his amazing wares at the same time i have been told that some of them are one of a kind.

Davrick allows himself to be manipulated like a prop so they can get all the proper measurements.

If it could be a little baggy one me please that would be preferable, i am not in the same shape as i use to be when i was younger and would rather not have it show the extra weight i have put on hehe
Dec 20, 2017 12:08 pm
Ms Taylor and her 'Swifties' bustled about the shop for some time. Fabrics of different colors and quality were hanging all around, and the tailors pulled, pinned, and measured rapidly. Momo tried to raise his hand to be recognized, but every time he did a tailor would say "hand down, please" in a tone too nice for Momo to deny.

Eventually, without being called upon, Momo spoke up. "Ms Taylor, do you know Cyrus?"
Dec 20, 2017 12:34 pm
Well my good Lady, i certainly eager to try your wares, they are famed both here and abroad. These travel soiled leathers are fine for a night in the taverns but only clothes of your calibre are good enough for this gathering of esteemed locals. I am sure you are able to create a dashing look for me
Dec 20, 2017 3:44 pm
'Don't you worry sweetheart, we can make your outfit any way you like it,' she says to Davrick. 'Baggy it shall be! We'll start a new trend together.'

'Cyrus?' she says to Momo. 'Don't tell you're mixed up with that odious devil. Oh, and you all looked so nice. Still, he has his uses, I suppose. He once helped me with an old boyfriend. Can you believe he dared to hug another woman, right in front of me? He even tried to tell me she was his cousin, the filthy liar. Well, thanks to Cyrus he won't be giving any other girls that kind of trouble!' she punctuates the exclamation by stabbing a pin deep into a pincushion with startling violence.

Without missing a beat she turns to Petrev. 'Oh, you flatterer! Never fear, you'll turn every head in the place. So, how will you gentlemen be paying today?'
Dec 20, 2017 4:09 pm
A doublet? I'm actually really into that. Mantra thinks to himself as he gladly gets fitted, stiffening slightly at the brief glimpse of crazy shining through Swift's facade. I'm sorry to say that we are business associates of Cyrus. In fact, he is the director of this outing. he says, posh accent still in full effect.

'Oh. In that case, I don't want to know about it. The clothes are free, but tell Cyrus this is his last favour!' She storms towards the back of the shop, whilst the army of assistants put the finishing touches on the party's new outfits.
OOC:
You each have gained one set of fine clothes.
What do you want to do now?
