Rolls

Rapier damage - (1d8+3)

(7) + 3 = 10

Jan 9, 2018 6:21 am
Petrev skewers the goblin.
OOC:
Davrick and Momo still to act
Jan 9, 2018 10:21 pm
Davrick taking the two arrows to the chest drops to the ground unconscious face planting as he goes down.

Rolls

death saving - (1d20)

(14) = 14

Jan 9, 2018 10:26 pm
Momo roars loudly in frustration and begins to push the cart over, horses and all, for better cover.
OOC:
Attempt to tip over the cart so that it provides full cover for the party from half of the ambushers. Then use bonus action for Second Wind

Rolls

Athletics check to flip the cart - (1d20+5)

(11) + 5 = 16

Second Wind - (1d10+1)

(1) + 1 = 2

Jan 10, 2018 12:35 pm
The horses bolt in panic as the wagon teeters, tearing loose from their harness and galloping back down the road. The wagon crashes onto its side, sheltering the party. A moment later, several arrows hit the wagon with an audible thunk.

In the trees, three goblins surround Petrev, taunting and feinting at him, creating openings for each other to strike at the beleaguered dread pirate with their swords.

One of the goblins shouts loudly, in a harsh voice, 'Give up and we not kill you!'
OOC:
Players may now act in any order.

Rolls

Attack on Petrev #1 - (1d20+4)

(18) + 4 = 22

Damage on Petrev #1 - (1d6+2)

(3) + 2 = 5

Attack on Petrev #2 - (1d20+4)

(1) + 4 = 5

Damage on Petrev #2 - (1d6+2)

(6) + 2 = 8

Attack on Petrev #3 - (1d20+4)

(16) + 4 = 20

Damage on Petrev #3 - (1d6+2)

(2) + 2 = 4

Mantra's dying.

Rolls

Death save - (1d20)

(13) = 13

Jan 11, 2018 8:54 am
Aaarrrgggghhhhhh
Petrev, wills himself to heal, drawing deep from within, hoping for a second wind.

HP- (7)-5-4=-2
OOC:
i think this is how 2nd wind works, it says as a bo us action. I'm assuming my main action is my death saving throw.

Rolls

Death save - (1d20)

(20) = 20

Second wind - (1d10+1)

(8) + 1 = 9

Jan 11, 2018 9:50 am
OOC:
Since you rolled a natural 20 on your death save, Petrev regains consciousness and is on 1 hp, and can take a full turn (main, move & bonus actions).
Jan 11, 2018 10:06 am
Clinging to the waking world, i use my natural physical abilities to weave past my attackers and defensively make my way back to the cart.
OOC:
i use Disengage as my action, then move to the cart, and as my bonus action i use 2nd wind. Do you want me to reroll it?
Jan 11, 2018 10:15 am
OOC:
No, the roll can stand
Jan 11, 2018 10:24 am
OOC:
Petrev's HP = 1 + 2nd Wind (9). Totaling 10.
Petrev, makes it back to the cover of the wagon. Presenting as small a target as possible. Scrabbling through the debris i search for my longbow and arrows. Readying myself to start returning fire.
Jan 11, 2018 4:42 pm
Momo looks at his fallen companions and feels sad. He checks to see if they are breathing and if he can help at all.

Rolls

Medicine check on on the two fallen PCs - (1d20)

(16) = 16

Jan 12, 2018 5:42 am
Momo is able to stem the bleeding of his two fallen comrades.

The goblins crowd around the open side of the wagon, some holding bows, some armed with swords. The archers loose arrows at Momo and Petrev before the sword-wielders close in, kicking at the adventurers and battering them with the flats of their blades.
OOC:
Mantra and Davrick are now stabilised.
The melee attacks are non-lethal, if the PCs drop below zero hit points they fall unconscious but are stable.

By my calculations Momo is still conscious, so it is now his turn.

Rolls

Arrow attack on Petrev #1 - (1d20+4)

(11) + 4 = 15

Arrow damage on Petrev #1 - (1d6+2)

(4) + 2 = 6

Arrow attack on Petrev #2 - (1d20+4)

(19) + 4 = 23

Arrow attack on Petrev #2 - (1d6+2)

(1) + 2 = 3

Melee attack on Petrev - (1d20+5)

(16) + 5 = 21

Melee damage on Petrev - (1d6+3)

(5) + 3 = 8

Arrow attack on Momo #1 - (1d20+4)

(4) + 4 = 8

Arrow damage on Momo #1 - (1d6+2)

(4) + 2 = 6

Arrow attack on Momo #2 - (1d20+4)

(3) + 4 = 7

Arrow damage on Momo #2 - (1d6+2)

(4) + 2 = 6

Melee attack on Momo #1 - (1d20+4)

(8) + 4 = 12

Melee damage on Momo #1 - (1d6+2)

(6) + 2 = 8

Melee attack on Momo #2 - (1d20+4)

(15) + 4 = 19

Melee damage on Momo #2 - (1d6+2)

(3) + 2 = 5

Jan 12, 2018 6:38 am
Petrev collapses under the rain of blows.
Jan 12, 2018 12:19 pm
Surrounded and badly injured is nothing new to Momo. His old sergeant came to mind, and he recalled the old human running down the line and yelling "ATTACK!" in the ears of each the soldiers. Momo gripped his maul and swung at the goblins in his reach.

Rolls

attack with maul - (1d20+5, 2d6+3)

1d20+5 : (4) + 5 = 9

2d6+3 : (41) + 3 = 8

Jan 12, 2018 1:31 pm
The goblins scatter as Momo surges forward, and his ferocious blow sweeps through empty air. The goblins fall upon the off-balanced half-orc like a pack of jackals, leering and laughing as they begin to beat Momo down.
OOC:
Once again, the attacks are non-lethal.

Rolls

Arrow attack on Momo #2 - (1d20+4)

(5) + 4 = 9

Arrow damage on Momo #2 - (1d6+2)

(5) + 2 = 7

Arrow damage on Momo #3 - (1d6+2)

(4) + 2 = 6

Arrow attack on Momo #4 - (1d20+4)

(11) + 4 = 15

Arrow damage on Momo #4 - (1d6+2)

(5) + 2 = 7

Melee damage on Momo #1 - (1d6+2)

(3) + 2 = 5

Melee attack on Momo #2 - (1d20+4)

(16) + 4 = 20

Melee damage on Momo #2 - (1d6+2)

(6) + 2 = 8

Melee damage on Momo #3 - (1d6+3)

(5) + 3 = 8

OOC:
I don't think there are enough attack rolls for those damage rolls.
Jan 12, 2018 1:35 pm
OOC:
Seems Roll20 dropped a bunch of the rolls, but I believe the one successful attack was enough to put Momo under, so I'll just move forward.
The goblins rouse the party with brutal carelessness, slapping and pounding on them until they regain consciousness. Each PC has had their weapons taken, and their wrists securely bound behind their back. The PCs are flanked either side by a goblin – apart from Davrick, who is managed by a single escort.

The goblins lead the party on a forced march until nightfall, heading eastward, deep into the forest (roughly perpendicular to the road the party was travelling on). Eventually they reach a clearing. The presence of cold ashes and disturbed ground indicate that they have camped here before.

After a short meal (the PCs are offered neither food nor water), the PCs are hogtied and the goblins lay down to sleep. Two sentries keep watch, armed with swords and shortbows.
OOC:
PCs are conscious and on 1 hit point.
What do you do?
Jan 12, 2018 1:40 pm
Battered and bruised, Petrev decides that more rest will likely be of more use than pointless struggling, until the goblins decide what to do with us.
Jan 12, 2018 1:43 pm
Mantra tries to remember everything he can about goblins.
OOC:
I'm going to roll both a History check and a Religion check because I think I have time to do both.

Rolls

History - (1d20+2)

(6) + 2 = 8

Religion - (1d20+2)

(13) + 2 = 15
