As a paladin, you could have a few heals & buffs if you wanted. Or don't. Play how you like; I'm sure we'll be fine.

Not to overly complicate matters, but I can run a Cleric if we think we need one. I was just trying to find what sort of role the party still needed.

In my other game I'm a gnome monk. It's actually a really fun combination. :)

I've been waiting for Shane to come back into the cave, which doesn't seem to have happened yet. I'm sure it will next time d20dad posts.

Depending on how you read this, I think Shane may already have.
As for leaving him behind, I realize that's my fault. I'd misread and thought Medve hadn't mentioned Shane yet, and was actually waiting for either Szemely or Biscuitfiend to put him back in the scene. But going back I found this:

My interpretation is that Shane ran off looking for a tree to climb as to avoid the wolves. Since then, I don't think he's actually arrived. If he has, he certainly hasn't said anything. I'm thinking someone needs to leave a message for him to follow us up the pile of rubble.

Or we can say we're merely scouting ahead up to the top of the slope and waiting to regroup there. I hope d20dad hasn't fallen through the cracks like the players we replaced!

You can just go on without him, I assume he'll be back before combat or make some kind of dramatic entrance :)
