Wil: Wil walks alone through a dusty, cold stairway and opens an old oak door at the top to reveal an attic, even more rife with dust and webs. There is a door near to you on the north wall that has a lock fastening it to the frame. There are two other doors to the west on either side of a dead end hall and another on the south wall.

Baroth: Facing the double doors, Baroth sees nothing amiss. However, he does notice a rhythmic creaking ruminating from beyond the wall to his right, the structure of the house suggesting that, whatever it is, it can be accessed through the doors he's facing.

Baroth looks at Greymond and whispers. Stay here and wait for Will. Baroth then looks to Ryn and gives him a wave to follow him. Baroth then starts to, as quietly as he can, walk over to the double doors.

Your armor rattles but the sound doesn't cease when you approach the door.

Ryn quietly walks over towards Baroth and the doors.

OOC:
Due to the smallness of the balcony-hallway, you are only moving about 10ft but that's ok. If only I could show blocked up maps.

Also, the fight with the armor was incredibly noisy.
Ryn, while trying to be stealthy, kicks a piece of armor down the stairs. It seems like it takes forever to finally stop falling and clattering over everything it comes in contact with. He reaches the door easily.

Wil is going to move to the left, towards the door on the south. He checks if the door is locked.
Jan 10, 2018 7:32 pm
The door is unlocked.

This dust-choked room contains a slender bed, a night-stand, a small iron stove, a writing desk with a stool, a wardrobe, and a rocking chair. A smiling doll in a lacy yellow dress sits in the northern window box, cob-webs draping it like a wedding veil.

Looking in the room...

Rolls

(20) + 5 = 25

Jan 10, 2018 8:35 pm
While looking in the room, you hear a the sound tiny footfalls and quiet tapping and scratching from the locked room on the other end of the hallway.
Jan 10, 2018 8:41 pm
Wil searches the room for items.

Rolls

Investigating the room for items - (1d20+4)

(13) + 4 = 17

Otherwise, he will leave the room, leaving the doll in place. He then goes down the stairs, and tells the players about the door with the lock on the outside.
Jan 10, 2018 9:02 pm
Once you search the room, it becomes obvious that it wasn't in use. The wardrobe and desk are empty and you find nothing.
Jan 10, 2018 9:09 pm
Ryn grimaced as each clang reverberated up the stairs. "Oops, sorry about that. I’ll ah, let you take the lead."
Jan 10, 2018 9:22 pm
Wil comes down the stairs, walks up to Greymond, and whispers, what are they doing?
Jan 10, 2018 10:30 pm
Baroth opens up the double doors and walks in leaving enough room for Ryn to come in behind him.
