Ryn whispers to Wil. "There’s something over there. I’m going to see if I can get a better look. Be ready to get the light out if it comes out." Ryn then casts mage hand and sends it to start moving the refuse to see if he can see whatever is over there. He holds out his hand ready to attack anything that runs towards him.

OOC:
Technically, you would have disadvantage on perception checks in complete darkness if you have darkvision because it counts as dim light. Wil can't see at all. As you move refuse upon refuse, the movements stop and you can't seem to uncover what was behind them with the limited force of the mage hand.
Actually, the apparent creature's wormlike body squirms at your prodding, it rising up and baring it's dangerous looking **tentacles** and sharp beak. A series of clicks echo in the silent room as the creature swipes at the hand before turning it's attention to Ryn.
OOC:
Roll initiative Wil and Ryn. The others, I'll assume, are headed up the stairs at the moment. Rolls

Baroth heads up Greymond to go and get the bodies. They go pretty quickly as not to waste as much time as possible.

Been a busy day. Baroth and Greymond can make perception checks to hear Wil. If you carry on up the stairs, you should come around about 10 rounds after you leave at least since one round is approximatly 6 seconds. Jan 20, 2018 9:18 pm
OOC:
Perception check. If I don't hear anything, or if Greymond doesn't either. I will keep going. Rolls

Since Wil caught you before any real progress was made, you could come in the round after this one. If the creature survives it, that is.load next
