The creature receives a arrow in its open beak. It writhes breifly before going limp, dark liquid oozing out of it's grievous wounds.

Wil: Wil read about a sort of wormlike cave creature once but doesn't recall anything more. He doesn't think they're supernatural in nature.

I don’t mind checking ahead, but I hope I didn’t delay bringing the kids’ bodies down here. I’ll keep checking down the hall, if Grey and Bar will grab the bodies and lay then in these spaces.

Baroth walks back down the hallway with Greymond to go and get the bodies of the kids. He walks quickly as to not impede their progress.

The more we're here, the more I dislike it. There is something wrong with this house. He tells Baroth more out of nervousness of having the group separated. Wonder what happened to the caretakers and the family.
