Chapter 1: Into the Mists

The north passage turns east briefly before turning back northward. Looking down the resulting hallway, you see stairs leading down to a landing which has a passage branching off to the west. After the landing, the stairs continue north to a room which is too far away to see anything in.

While Wil is searching, Ryn is frantically looking around him ready to blast anything that makes the slightest noise or movement. He’s a little trigger happy and paranoid after that last creature.

All you hear is the mysterious chanting echoing throughout the halls and passageways, directionless and muted.

Wil stops and attempts to listen in on the chant.

You can't make out the words or the direction but it sounds like it's being done by several people.

Wil: As you goes down the stairs and make it to the landing, the passageway to the west becomes more visible. At the end of the passageway, there is a staircase going up to the south and another going down to the west. As you advance, you are able to see more of the large room at the bottom of the stairs after the landing, seeing multiple doorways and a well in the center. Where does Wil go from here?
