Wil ties the lit rope to the end of an arrow, and then shoots the arrow into the room, hoping for the arrow to land to the left of the well within 5 feet of it.

The arrow clatteers to the floor and comes to rest right where you wanted it. The room is now lit but, due to the angle, you can't see much more from where you stand.
Jan 23, 2018 8:43 pm
Wil begins sneaking up into the room, attempting to use any available shadows as a means of hiding (within 5 feet of the entrance I enter from).

Stealthing into the room - (1d20+7)

(14) + 7 = 21

You expertly sneak into the room, not making the slightest sound, but the large square room seems to be abandoned. The room is lined with 5 doorless thresholds that lead to rooms which each contain a bed and a small chest. A well is in the middle of the room, complete with a bucket fastened to a crank. There is a passage leading to some stairs on in the southwest corner of the room.

Wil picks up the rope, ties it to the bucket in the well, and uses the crank to lower the bucket. Does he see anything of note?
Jan 23, 2018 9:37 pm
Only the shimmering of water down below.

Wil brings the bucket back up, then grabs the rope, walks into the doorway of the closest room on the west, and checks for any traps.

Rolls

Perception (looking around for traps) - (1d20+5)

(11) + 5 = 16

None that you can see.
Jan 24, 2018 6:24 am
Wil walks in and checks the chest in that first room. Is it locked?

OOC:
Lets let the others catch up.
Jan 24, 2018 1:49 pm
Wil pulls out his thieves tools set and attempts to unlock.

Rolls

Lock Picking (Sleight of Hand) - (1d20+5)

(14) + 5 = 19

As Greymond reaches the rest of the group he addresses Baroth Can you feel what your traveler feels? How does that work?

I just feel his fear. Sometimes it is over powering and sometimes it isn't. We make it to the room that looks to be the kids Graves or tombs. I gently open the door while still holding onto Rose's body. Let's put these bodies where they belong. What do you say? Baroth peeks in and looks around.

Baroth: As you attempt to open the fitted stone door inscribed with Rose's name, it is harder to pry than you first anticipated.
OOC:
Roll an Athletics check.

He puts he shoulder to the door in hopes to push it open. Then puts his right leg behind him and drive his left shoulder into the door.

The door swings wide, exposing an empty coffin sitting atop a stone slab.

OOC:
Let me describe the place a bit better. There is a small room which contains two heavy stone doors which each bear the name of one of the children. Behind these are the actual tombs.

Baroth walks over to the tomb that has Rose's name on it. Walks up next to the coffin and sets her body inside of it. I hope this is a little more comfortable.
