Rymente walks up to the dwarf and crouches next to him "Relax. I know you didn't kill and loot these horses." He turns to his shoulder "No, I wasn't talking to you; of course I know you didn't steal anything. Where would you keep it?" He begins to turn back towards the dwarf before turning back to his shoulder "Yes, I do know for a fact that he is innocent...Because if he wasn't, he'd be covered in horses' blood and have the stolen contents...Because that would be dumb...Fine, I'll ask him." He turns back to the dwarf "Did you do this?" Then he waits a second, another second, a third second before turning back to his shoulder "See. Silent at such a stupid question...Yes, I do know that is the reason...Because it was such a stupid question."
OOC:
Rymente moved away from the wagon and Leylin said he whispered, I don't think Rymente would of heard him point out the goblins.Jan 12, 2018 11:15 am
Leylin turns his head quickly over to the right side of the road to try and pick out any additional ambushers hiding in the trees.
-please roll a perception check.
Rymente: you may not have heard exactly what Leylin said but you could hear him whispering and noticed him gesturing in the direction to the left side of the road. It’s up to you if you wish to make a check for something over there.

Rolls
Perception - (1d20+3)
(18) + 3 = 21
Jan 12, 2018 2:09 pm
I begin moving towards where Leylin was motioning, regardless of being able to see the goblins. I raise my bow, arrow notched so I can loose an arrow as soon as a goblin enters my sight.

I'm afraid what we'll roll in combat now after all those high rolls...Leylin whispered to Sariel.
"Two more gobs on the other side of the road as well. Let's hope that's all their forces. You got them on the left?"
Crossbow in the Leylin's hands shifted to point towards the newly discovered enemies.
OOC:
Leylin is prepared to fire at goblins on the right (south/down on map) side, prioritizing one with a bow. Trigger is any aggressive action on their part or if any ally starts their attack.Last edited January 12, 2018 4:20 pm

Sariel whispers to Leylin as Amaris disappears into the woods: "Sure, I'll take the right. But why are we waiting? We already have the jump on them, let's just kill them."
Sariel hesitates because Rymente is out in the open, but that's his own damn fault isn't it? And where the hell did Amaris just disappear to? Was he planning to slit their throats in the woods single-handedly? It was a needless risk in her mind.

By the way, just wanted to be clear that the above comments are just Sariel's point of view. As a player, I'm enjoying the fun things you guys are doing. I think Sariel would have already rolled initiative, but I'll hold back until you guys have had your fun :)Last edited January 12, 2018 7:38 pm

They way I’m looking at this situation is the goblins know you are there (thy are waiting in hiding to ambush) but at this point they are too stupid to realize you know about them. They are waiting for some reason to attack that you don’t know. I will hold off on iniative until someone actually makes an attempt at an attack.Sclasclemski sent a note to lenpelletier

Amaris: You disappear into the woods. Inching yourself closer and closer to the two Goblins. They don't appear to notice you sneaking up behind them, there focus seems to be on the area of the slain horses, they don't appear to have a good angle on Rymente from their position. After about 30 tense seconds you are about 20' directly behind them.
