The Twi'lek woman quirks a smile as she replies in Basic, "Not shy. Sizing you up. Ready to play?"

She starts up a new game and gestures for Bo to make the first move.
OOC:
Let's do this as a skill vs. skill challenge. Difficulty will be two purple.

Doc spends a moment studying the blue skinned figure before shaking his head slightly, frustrated at his inability to place his species. He moves over to the table where the figure is sitting and gestures to an empty seat "You mind?"
Feb 19, 2018 11:52 pm
Bo gets into the game.
OOC:

Through a series of clever moves, Bo removes four of her opponent's pieces before any of hers are taken. Unfortunately, this aggressive series of moves opens her up to a counterattack.
OOC:
4:0. Next roll, add one setback die.

Warden watches Boha removes 4 of the pieces, and then hears the human requesting a nearby empty seat.

"Help yourself. It's not being saved for anyone," he gestures to the human. "Just be sure to not block my view of the game. This rodian is finally giving that twi'lek a challenge."
Feb 20, 2018 1:39 am
Bo is trying to use the game to get information. She says in Rodian, "So who knows things around here about moving some product? know any skilled operators looking for work?"

Gav casually surveys the room as he speaks, Whatever needs doing, just like most of us out here. Enough to get by. Seeming satisfied, he turns and looks Jack in the eye, But If I had my druthers, I'd be back in the cockpit. He raises his eyebrows eagerly, So! Tell me about your ship?
Feb 20, 2018 9:45 am
Jack looks just as eager to tell, grinning from ear to ear, "Most might think it looks like your typical YT-2000, but that's only because most haven't had a peek under the hull." He thumbs the rim of his glass as he explains, "The friend of mine that owned it dreamed of being a racer, and when that didn't pan out, she put all of that energy and need for speed into this ship." Jack's eyes drop to his glass for a moment, before he returns Gav's stare, "High-output Ion turbine, high-end hyperdrive that we've overclocked a bit, and it was gutted a long time ago, with all the circuitry replaced with some higher quality cable." Jack grins, "So long as you don't mind that it's deathly allergic to Imperial scanners, I think we should have you take a look for yourself."
Feb 21, 2018 1:36 am
Well, I’d like that. Sounds like we’re compatible… I myself have developed a bit of an allergy. Maybe your… friend’s… not-so-typical YT is more than capable of keeping us all out of trouble. Or, at least out ahead of it, Gav says with a knowing smile.

So, where are you coming from and where are you going to?
Feb 21, 2018 10:53 am
Jack nods his head in agreement with Gav's sentiment. "Between jobs, at the moment," he replies to the rest, "Trying to offload some cargo. Could discuss that further, somewhere more quiet, once you've met the others and everything is looking solid." Jack takes a look around the cantina, trying to make a mental note of where his comrades were as he speaks idly, "Though, we might be on the Smuggler's Moon for a while yet, in order to find work."

The Twi'lek answers in Common, "Not something I would know much about, sorry." She seems very distracted by how difficult an opponent Bo is turning out to be. She manages to take one piece, but then Bo takes four more.

As she makes her next move, she appears remarkably confident given how many pieces she has lost. She glances up at Bo and adds, "Now that piece of poodoo you call a vibrosword, that I could help with."
OOC:
8:1, two Setbacks this round.
Feb 22, 2018 12:20 am
Bo laughs awkwardly loud. The blade has been edged and modified that cost Bo a small fortune. It has saved her from more trouble than she can count. It is a part of her as much as her own arm. "What would you know about vibroblades? Maybe you should pay more attention to your moves than drooling over my weapon."
OOC:
I wish I rolled like this in combat

Doc chuckles as he takes a seat "Wouldn't dream of it.". He joins with watching the game for a few moments "The twi'lek supposed to be any good?" he asks with a frown being quite surprised at Bo's competence. I'll make a point of not playing Bo for credits if she offers in future he thinks to himself before turning back to the figure in the booth "You in here on business or just sight seeing?"
Feb 22, 2018 11:52 pm
Warden responds to Doc’s question about the game-player. "I’ve only watched her play a few games, and she seems to be pretty skilled."

At the mention of the second personal question, he suddenly becomes a little edgy, and takes another sip of his drink. Is this one of those undercover infochants he ran into last week, prying for information about him? He thinks about all the false leads and misdirections he’s propagated, and smirks a little. "It should be a while before they pick up my trail again," he think to himself. He’s probably safe for now.

Still... He studies the human sitting next to him for a brief moment. Although just by looking at someone can never reveal true intentions, his gut tells him to trust the man. And Warden has a tendency to go with those gut feelings.

"That’s a good question. Business or Sightseeing? I guess you can say I’m sightseeing until I find some business. How about you..." His question lingers as if to catch the man’s name.

"Jasvan, most just call me Doc though. Same for the moment really, we just landed so we’re trying to get the lay of the land before we take on any jobs here abouts." he pauses for a moment whilst watching the game between Bo and the Twi’lek "What’s your normal ‘business’ then...." he looks back to the figure leaving a similar pause for a name
Feb 23, 2018 10:29 am
The Twi'lek smiles and merely replies, "Maybe I should." While she has few remaining pieces, suddenly the woman's skill becomes apparent as she moves them about masterfully.

"You can call me Warden. Pleasure to meet you Doc."

He scrunches his face, takes another sip and contemplates how to answer Doc. He probably shouldn’t mention the time he smashed a dock manager’s kneecaps just because he forgot to alter a shipping manifest. Or the other time he was ordered to airlock a insertion team for failing their mission.

"I used to work in security management, but I’m kinda doing my own thing now. Just looking for anything that will bring in some credits. How about you? Is it too forward of me to assume you work for the local med center?"
