With Katyushka somewhat safe for now Duke looks around his head on a swivel.

Well... bless his heart... Duke thinks wincing a bit at Seth's onslaught on the final combatant.

Not wanting to get caught up in the scuffle he'll wait for an opening and attempt to sucker punch the final combatant for now from where he was.

Seth gets hit hard by the Karum agent, and finds himself (itself?) bell-rung. He (it?) stumbles backwards uncertain what is happening around him.

GM Intrusion from a rolled 1 on Speed Defense: Seth is off balance, and his next roll will be one step harder.

Duke's energy attack strikes the creature, drawing a baleful glance.

If it's only a meter off the ground, do I need to roll to jump down? How far is it to the last Karum?

Katyushka and Vinny are on a catwalk 3m off the ground. When K was hanging off of the catwalk, her feet were only 1m from the ground.

3m isn't far, how about a difficulty 1 jump, athletics, or acrobatics check, if only to leave room for a rolled 1 heh.

The last Karum is a short distance from where you would hit the floor.

No problem there, the Chrysalid form only hinders your ability to spend Intellect Pool, and FtF doesn't require that.

Alrighty, Vinny will attempt the fleet of foot move. As mentioned previously, he's trained in running and jumping so, this should be a diff 1 roll.
As Katyushka clambers back onto the catwalk, Vinny lifts his glasses and gives her a wink before vaulting over the railing and rushing towards the last Karum.

Vinny executes a flawless...

... and whacks the big guy with his mace.

(4 damage before armor, but with a natural 19, you can either add 3 damage, or impose a minor effect on the Karum agent - a knock back, a distraction, or something similar.)

Since players make all the rolls, +1 step doesn't seem like a great idea, haha. But I take your meaning, and accept: target is 9 to hit him and avoid his hits for 1 round.

Micah rubs at his shoulder, where the axe bit through his armor and into his skin. He winces at the pain it brings him and shakes his head. "This is not my kind of game..." he mutters to himself as he steps into the shadows.

I want to step into the shadows and hide from the combatants. That way I'll be ready to surprise any other surprises we get...
surprised with. My pistol didn't have any effect and I don't have any other combat options that make sense in this case, so preparing for the future seems like a good idea.

@Zatatmando: the damage for the wallop was 6 Might damage (before armor); the stun was additional payment for the 1 on your defense roll
