I'm loving the characters in this game, for sure! After being in such amazing games with you guys, I feel like I should put a couple of my games on hiatus so I can focus on making the ones I keep that much better!

For example, I feel like my Basic Fantasy game features much better writing on my part than some of my others that I don't devote so much time to!

I think of Urban as the responsible one that always gets left to do the practical things like water the horses while everyone else wanders off after shiny things.

Uncooperative? Not by a long shot. I completely agree with Len's assessment.

Ybus wouldn't fight it. Either group could pull him one way or the other, as he's just letting himself be taken wherever the energy flows. Of course, that's not to say that he'd stick with that group, either.

I agree with the others, if not for his hair trigger temper, Urban would be the front-runner for leader in my opinion.

Okay I expect no less haha!

Shit, I didn't even notice this. Sorry to hear that, Jabes. Honestly I didn't notice the pace of the game drop or anything. If you want to stop struggling and give yourself a break, we're totally able to accommodate.

Basic Fantasy is high quality for sure! I've held myself back from posting more rapidly despite eagerly anticipating what happens down the road because i know how busy you've gotten! Really feel like our characters bit off more than we can chew, and I'm looking forward to see if we can handle it.

I think we may be looking at a slower posting rate (at least from me) for the time being: maybe thrice a week. Even though I can get on the computer often enough often my mind is a fuzzy sort of blank. For example, I went back over my first few Chapter 1 narration posts and noticed that I had gotten my own map wrong and kept confusing the Academy with the Temple District! I've gone back and made some edits so the narration should now match the map. Went ahead and did some more Photoshop work on the map (it's a work in progress).

I should have new story posts up by tonight.

Don't sweat it, DM! Target a sustainable pace and no more. No need for a sprint out of the gate here--need to guard now against burnout.
And about those mistakes, I personally noticed like....zero of those.
We don't feel like we are having to "put up with" any shortcomings; the game is really well done and fun. No disappoints about pace, content, or anything else. Don't take on any extra stress on our behalf. Foray is rock steady with you at the helm, bro!

Aaand we're back! Thanks for the support, guys. I've just been going through some stuff that has left me absolutely drained both physically and emotionally at the worst possible time. I've battled depression since I was a kid and though I've gotten far better adjusted now it still does rear its ugly head sometimes. When I say D&D saved my life I mean that in a very real sense. Hoping to ramp up from here. Thanks, guys!

Hey that's wild! Jabes, did you know my reference to Aishwarya Rai when I made Aishwariya (spelling 1 letter different) in Naat's basic fantasy game? I shouldn't be surprised, she's one of the biggest actresses in the world, but I'm one of the few people I know that likes Bollywood.

That sari is what was foremost in my vision for the clothing for another character in Naatkinson's game. Such connections.

I see Erden has Find Familiar, does he not have it summoned or is it not listed?

He hasn't summoned it yet because it has a material component with a gold cost :-)
