Balak has scored a critical hit. Anyone have any house rules we could consider?

For example, Chris Perkins house rule is to assume the extra dice rolled are automatically maximum. For example, a fighter crits with his Maul which normally does 2d6+3, on a crit that becomes 15 + 2d6. I like this for PBP because it doesn't require a second post or editing your first post to add extra dice.

I use just doubling the rolled dice then add the modifier...that way nothing extra is required

so in this instance I would say the damage dealt was 16 rolled a 6 double that to 12 then add 4

I vote for the Chris Perkins version.

DM can I make a request that would definitely help myself and maybe everyone else but I dont want to speak for others.

When monsters appear they be referenced as, for example Zombies, Z1 Z2 and Z3 respectively...just so that its easier to determine reference points and who is attacking who and who is where

The astute amoung you will notice that Skeeze has pulled out of the game, taking Walter Flagg with him. He sent me a note saying that IRL has taken precedence for his time.

The game is currently open for 6 players. Let me know if you have any feelings about closing it to 5, or leaving it open, or even actively recruiting.

I think it's a good idea to try to keep 6 people active in the game. I'd prefer referrals over recruiting, given the option.

I think 6 is a good number that I target in my games as well...how you get there though is irrelevant (to me anyway) as long the player is active!!
