There is the glowing sphere. Behind the draperies are niches where Oreioth keeps his food, drink, supplies, clothes, and bedding, as well as 165 sp, 78 gp and four polished jet gems (50 gp each). A wand of magic missiles is stored in a niche. Oh, and some book; looks personal, kinda mystical.

Alyx can tell right away that it is a spellbook. Deciphering the necromancer's personal code will take careful study. Until then, the exact contents of the book are unclear.

An hour or so of dedicated time to understand the contents, then 2 hours and 50gp/level to copy each into your spellbook. Higher level spells with have to wait until you can cast them to copy.

Dazzle spends some time examining the sphere and the symbols, trying to remember if he's heard about anything like this in all of his travels.

Since Dazzle failed to roll the one skill check that would be applicable (just kidding), he is unfamiliar with the sigil. However, as he gets close and examines it, it disappears from above the crystal sphere.

Sorgrimm is likely alone with the semi-conscious necromancer.

I give the necromancer some water and a half a ration. I eat the other half with him.

I am curious as to the identity of the necromancer that trained you. What was his name? Where do you think he has gotten off to now?

Luckily I have an eidetic memory, Dazzle explains to everyone nearby, so I'll definitely be able to recognize these symbols if we happen across anything similar in the future.

The only unexplored space is the right leading tunnel off the second chamber. This leads to a cavern with no exits.

Motionless humanoid figures dressed in dirty clothes or scraps of armor are propped against the walls of this cave. Some are little more than skeletons with wisps of hair and skin stretched tightly over their bones. Others are fresher. A few old shortswords lie on the dusty floor.
