Seeing Urban in trouble, Erden moves forward to join him on the front line, launching an overpowered flurry of magical missiles at Creepy. "Urban, fall back!" he commands his friend in his most authoritative tone.

Urban knows he needs to break contact momentarily to reset, but he tries to push his luck and buy some spacing. He shoves at the slime blob, trying to push it away before he drops back.

Bonus Action: Shield Shove

Depending on results of this, I'll game out Action choice. May have to Disengage. With some luck though, 5' distancing will preclude OAs, maybe I can use normal Movement and come up with some other Action to contribute or set up for next round.

I just want to note that the shield shove requires you to take the attack action on your turn (unless Jabes houserules that) :)

Correct: Bonus Action shield Shove must come with an Attack action. If I resolve that Shove by opposing it, Disengage will not be an option, so let me know what you decide to do. The slime is probably not going to be able to stand against that Shove though, so I think you'll be fine!

Those of you at the water channel intersection: (Baracus, Ybus, Rydler)

Straining your ears, all you hear are the sounds of Urban and Erden fighting the slime in the east tunnel. To the north, the splish-splash of water. Then, there it is, so soft it's hard to tell which direction it came from: eerie laughter.

Very true. I'll just keep it simple and Disengage.
On the way, will try to look for something that might be used as a weapon. A grate? Loose stone block? If I can spot something for next round.

Round 5: Urban

Old habits kick in: Urban obeys his commanding officer's direct order. On the lookout as he falls back he spots a loose brick.

• Erden: Did I correctly interpret your action: you are now in melee with the monster?
• Urban: In addition to the brick as potential weapon you do still have the torch. Are you falling back the full 30ft after disengaging? This slime doesn't move 30ft.

Baracus recognizes the need to clear the path to the exit stairs. As he charges down the sewer tunnel, he is forced to admit to himself that he is not yet worthy of the axe, and so at the last second he bites the axe into the stone wall and uses it as a hand-hold to double wall kick of the tunnel walls. In mid air, he draws the First Sword and comes crashing down on the new slime. With a beastial roar, he strikes the gelatinous mass with his palms, sending huge ripples through the ochre thing.

Round 5: Baracus

The slime recoils at Baracus' vicious blows. (12 piercing + 19 bludgeoning) Surprisingly, this one doesn't burn the half-orc's palms. Perhaps these ochre ones aren't as dangerous as the green ones.

Ybus & Rydler

It's faint, but you can definitely hear it now: muffled muttering punctuated by cackling laughter.

With some distance between himself and the slime now, Urban tries to reorient and reengage. He puts the torch down to get a hand free and scoops up a loose block to use as an improvised weapon.

Setting up for next round. Using whatever Movement it takes to wind up 10 or 15 feet from the Slime (after its Movement if any)

Round 5: Rydler & Ybus

Turning a deaf ear to the eerie sounds for now, Rydler focuses on the yellowish slime looming over Erden. A finger of light stabs down onto the monster, searing translucent flesh. (1 radiant)

Ybus follows suit, unleashing another beam of dark lightning. (2 force damage)

Round 5 Conclusion

Lio tends to Myche who is still somewhat shaken from having been swallowed up, however briefly, by the slime.

Rafiel moves up beside Urban. With a deft flick of the wrist he flings a razor-sharp metal star at the slime. (5 piercing)

Don-Yi, overcome by curiosity, begins to wander deeper into the tunnels in the direction he believes the muttering voice is coming from. (West)

The slime flails at Baracus. (10 bludgeoning + 4 acid)

Erden incinerates the slime completely, leaving only a smoking puddle of yellowish goop that is quickly washed away by the sewer water.

With the fight over it's quiet enough to hear the splashing of the water from the inlet pipes. It's loudest to the north where all the water seems to be flowing towards. It's easier to hear the voice now as well, though you can't make out what it's saying. It's definitely coming from the west where Don-Yi has headed.

He didn't see but Myche & Lio can tell him. Don-Yi isn't that far down the west tunnel, though he's currently beyond reach of your two light sources.

Erden moves back up the tunnel to check on Urban. Seeing that he's alright, he walks up to the remaining turtles, "Where's the purple one... Don-yi?"
