Seeing the skeleton rise up from the ground I close the distance and strike with both of my rapiers at the undead creature. Attempting to remove the skull from its body.

1D20+4 : (15) + 4 = 19

1D8+2 : (5) + 2 = 7

Rapier Attack 2 | piercing damage - (1D20+4, 1D8+2)

1D20+4 : (4) + 4 = 8

1D8+2 : (7) + 2 = 9

Running toward the mage first, with shield in the left hand and sword in the right, Elon attempts to attack.
OOC:
If I'm not close enough I will use this turn to move toward the mage.

Rolls

Longsword attack - (1d20+5)

(12) + 5 = 17

Longsword dmg - (1d8+3)

(7) + 3 = 10

Are there stones around that I can make magical perhaps?
Mar 8, 2018 4:07 pm
OOC:
yeah there is. Also skeleton is slain so if you attack use it on the mage
Mar 8, 2018 4:14 pm
I pick up a handful of pebbles. Nature's Grace, imbue your power in these stones and let us stop evil. I then throw one at the mage.

Rolls

Magic Stone - (1d20+2)

(4) + 2 = 6

Damage - (1d6+2)

(3) + 2 = 5

The first strike of your rapier cuts through the weakened bone like a hot knife through butter. As the Skeleton begins to fall to the ground the second strike makes sure the Skeleton is done as the strike launches the skeletons head into the forest.

Elons long sword comes down and mortally slashes through the mages chest, who cries out in agony. Perhaps due to his convulsions, the magic stone harmlessly launches by, missing the mage and hitting a nearby dead tree and skipping off into some leaves.

Blood coming out of the side of the mouth of the mage, he manages to lift his left arm and a gust of noxious gas shoots towards Elon.

Skeleton is Slain

Mage has taken 10 points of damage.

Elon make a constitution throw.

It is now everyones turns, regardless of the result of the throw

I throw my second stone.

Rolls

Magic Stone - (1d20+2)

(13) + 2 = 15

Damage - (1d6+2)

(5) + 2 = 7

OOC:
this attack will slay the mage. We need only the constitution save and then the encounter will be over
Mar 8, 2018 7:36 pm
I begin searching the area for anything of interest, in particular the mage's body.

Rolls

perception(+4) or investigation (+1) - (1d20)

(9) = 9

OOC:
What's the state of the plants in the immediate vicinity?
Mar 8, 2018 8:29 pm
OOC:
Withered like a plant that hasnt been watered in 2 weeks in dry weather
Mar 8, 2018 9:01 pm
I use druidcraft to revive as many plants as possible. Live my brothers and sisters.
Mar 8, 2018 10:27 pm
Taken aback by the noxious gas, Elon attempts to recover.
OOC:
Crap...

Constitution Save - (1d20+2)

(2) + 2 = 4

The gas enters into your lungs and creates a volatile burning sensation inside of you that causes you to lose your breath, knocking you unconscious, taking 12 damage

OOC:
Unconscious as i believe the high damage roll hit you to 0. Awanesa's cure wounds can heal you without the need for death throws
Awanesa you attempt to cure the plants and give them life but are only partially able to do so, with some of the plants being permanently wilted by some magical force.

Leif you are start searching the ruins and dont find much of value on the mage outside of a small pouch containing 6 gp. The statue near you glows a pure white light.

Rolls

Poison damage - (1d12)

(12) = 12

Mar 8, 2018 10:39 pm
With tears in my eyes, i approach Elon and touch him. Nature, restore life force to him.

Rolls

Cure wounds - (1d8+2)

(3) + 2 = 5

Nice work on the heal Nasa! Once Elon recovers I speak again Nothing much on the Mage, but I did find a few gold. 6 to be exact. I look at my new comrades to see if they appear offended by me looting the corpse. To the victors go the spoils am I right? I hand each of them 2gp

I turn back towards the glowing statue That thing has got some bad juju on it. Can either of you identify things of magical nature?. I step towards it to look closer but am careful not to touch it.

the stone cracks the statue and the light arcs and imbues you, filling you with ancient knowledge and expertise. It seems like it was harmless and had no adverse effect on you, but you feel as though your natural abilities have gotten stronger.

Each of you gains 300 XP, which should be enough to level you up

!!! What...nice. Do we do it right now or do you require a rest?
Mar 9, 2018 2:13 am
OOC:
Outside of something extreme I dont expect anything to happen to you guys in between now and a rest. Travel wise, youre still on your way to the mountain unless you camp for the night but will have to wait on the first groups activity first before letting you guys get there
