I found this helpful document.

Here's a video of a session of Dungeon World GM'd by Adam Koebel (one of the creators of DW) and played by 3 noobs and 1 experienced guy.

So if you haven't figured out rolls result into 3 staging areas for a result:

6 and below, you fail and something happens via the GM. You get +1 XP
7-9, you succeed and something happens via the GM.
10+, you succeed and nothing bad happens.

There's end of session XP awarding but depending on the situation you might out level (being level 7 while others are still level 3) others due to bad rolls, granted you might also end up dead. Also characters kind of retire at level 10, there's the option of starting a new class but that doesn't seem that fun to me.

I'll likely won't be posting until next Monday. Operation Gen Con starts in 20 hours.

I definitely learned a bit, and it was more enjoyable than my first foray into the game.

It's been fun playing but I was really hoping for more on how to GM DungeonWorld: Fronts, Portents, GM Moves, etc. :-)

Jabes- do you want to try and co-dm a one-shot? Not sure if I have the head space for a campaign yet but one can dream.

What were you trying to figure out specifically versus what's in the book?

@Remnant: I don't own the book. And even if I did I'd still be interested in how you do things behind the scenes as I know everyone has a different process.

@Moofsalot: Tempteding offer, thanks! But I also have doubts if I have the headspace available. :-) Rain check?

Shared out some things if you wanted to look back through the thread. The book would explain a lot more stuff I think on GMing.
