I nod. I appreciate it. Before I go, what do you have in the way of potions and poisons?

Shaking her head, Sorry mister, none of that either. This town doesn't have a large clientele for that sort of thing...at least not yet. Just some farmers and miners. We don't get too many advernturer's. Though the town master I heard is looking for able bodies to take care of an orc situation northwest of here.

Elmar can no longer maintain his manners. A look of shock and slight disgust comes across his face.

Stuttering, Look, I, I, I am very pleased to meet you...uh but I am not much for the sight of blood. He stands up awkwardly clearly flustered, As to your other question..there are no libraries here in a Phandalin, this is a "frontier" town. There are only two inns and a few stores. It is a town of farmers and miners. I’m sorry that I cannot order you better news. Now, if you will please excuse me, I have some inventory to count.. Elmar scurries away calling after the two young clerks.

Gu’lorg, not understanding the xenophobia, but not phased by it, he withdraws his hand, wiping the blood into his hands. He walks to the inn, taking in the different people around him.

While Gu'lorg was attempting his cultural exchange, Leylin was packing purchased equipment and discussing some things about it with young clerks.

Gu'lorg - The earlier description of the Inn is appropriate here as well
A quick scan of the room shows several different people. You notice a talkative barmaid, a miner and a farmer sitting together talking over mugs of ale, a young human woman serving as a waitress, a woman sitting by herself eating her evening meal, and a boy cleaning up some other tables. You see Seron and Sariel sitting together in a corner sharing a drink.

After giving his thanks and assuring store owner that they will not abandon Gundren, Leylin makes his way towards the inn. There he will ask for a room for a night and a warm supper. For a drink he will request juice or tea. He will keep his ears open for any interesting conversation occuring nearby...

Gu'lorg walks up to his companions Seron and Sariel, parks his butt in one of the seats, pulls out a book. Well met, friends. There isn't much here I can use at this point. Have you determined where we can find Gundren? Also, I have been meaning to see if I could examine that statuette that we recovered from the caves. It seemed a bit odd...

As Gu'Lorg sits down and props his book open, Ah, you again. Well I may not have known who you truly were, but you helped save my neck in that caravan. Seron pulls a sack from his belt and places it on the table in front of Gu'Lorg. I spoke with the Lionshield coster, we were compensated, here's your cut.

After listening to Trilena recount the tail of the woodcarver. That's not good. How long have these Redbrands been here? Surely the lord or whomever here is dealing with it? He keeps his voice down while talking about the redbrands.

I make my way to the inn. Hands on my swords but not drawn. I approach the bartender.

I’m looking for someone, but I don’t know their name. Only that they lead the Redbrands. Know who I’m looking for?

Friendship isn’t the goal. I start to leave. By the way, do you know where I can pick up some poison? I have a rat problem

Titan says:
Seron takes his drink appreciatively."Brave. Stupid. Often the same word. He says cracking a smile. "What's to tell? Just a Sun Elf trying to make his way. Came from Myth-Drannor to Yartar where I got that job protecting this caravan." He takes a looooong swig looking over his tankard the entire time at Sariel. Gauging by her expression he hadn't done well answering her question. Putting down the mug he starts again. "I crossed the right people in Myth-Drannor. Familiar at all with house Vyshaan?" He says, whispering the question.
"Honestly, I don't know the first thing about Myth-Drannor or noble houses. Spent the last three years in Kryptgarden killing goblins with my uncle, we didn't hear much about the world outside. But I can relate to being on the wrong side of a powerful force."

She clanks her tankard against his.

"Here's to fucking up and landing on your feet all the same."
