He's a college senior who's studies the physics of magic. He also blends tinkering with magic, but not so much with the tech stuff. His father was military and taught him how to shoot and (I'm not sure if it's allowed) he wears a bracelet that he created that when called upon (He uses his Alteration PL 5) changes to a Colt 1911 handgun.
When not in college (assuming there are colleges here), he spends time working in a shop, building stuff.
