Gu'lorg walks up to the beast, puts his hands in the cavity of the nothic's face, then wipes the blood braveheart style onto his face. He says in a low register, Dhec kaan, okakhaal ghuugach taal'del'daar.
[ +- ] In Goblin
Gu'lorg peruses the area looking for items or clues as to where to head.

I guess you are the companions we were looking for?
I just joined the party outside, as we seem to be pursuing the same goals. My name is Beriadan Stormwind, but people usually call me Spark (you can guess why). Who did I just battled with, and what was that monstrous one-eyed creature?
Apr 30, 2018 11:31 pm
After giving a side glance to a shortie, Leylin approaches the group and sizes Seron and Mynok up.

— So... Where's the fire? What made you rush here without waiting for us? He asks them and than turns his head to the Spark. Yes, at least these two are and what you fought right now is called Nothic.

While speaking, Leylin takes out the map he made during interrogation...

OOC:
Mynok make a survival check
The cavern is 10’ from main floor to ceiling and has five points of egress that you can see. The area is brightly lit with torches. There was previously two bridges but the north most one collapsed. As Seron found out the walls to the crevasse are easily climbable and you spot an obvious section where the creature probably climbed up and down frequently.
May 1, 2018 1:32 am
Mynok was fairly determined to make it here. He says walking to the edge of the crack and peers over. I did try to wait for you all.
May 1, 2018 9:50 am
Spark takes a good look at the map, doing his best to memorize it. He'll then be able to make it appear in from of him whenever we need to check something (using minor illusion).
Those two? Hum, you don't know the little... to Ryri Halfling, I'm guessing? Hello, who are you little fellow? Spark tries his best to be friendly and reassuring if he needs to.
May 1, 2018 1:41 pm
Oh right. We met this little one on our way here. He and Mynok bonded over slaying a tree. He looks at Spark as he speaks then peers over the edge again. I'm going to have a look He says attempting to climb back down the crevice.
May 1, 2018 3:32 pm
I begin cutting at the eye.

You were taking too long. The Lords' don't have time for dilly-dallying.

— Too long? You couldn't wait a minute? Leylin stares at the Mynok for a few moments, sighs and massages his temples. Forget it... Let's get this over with and go our separate ways...

Seeing as Seron descends into the crevice, Leylin approaches the edge of the section that creature used frequently and looks down.
May 1, 2018 11:34 pm
Hearing the sound of foot steps above him he looks up I'll be quick. He says in between grunting as he climbs I don't want to get separated again.

"My Ryti." The small halfling beams and smiles as he makes a slashing motion across his throat "You now give me."
May 2, 2018 8:19 am
OOC:
Is Ryti a halfling child, or simply child-looking? I guess Spark would be able to know that much.
— Well it is a pleasure to meet you Ryti. I'm not sure I understood what you expect from me, but I will certainly not cut your throat or harm you if you are on our side. Then more slowly, as Ryti doesn't seem to be as comfortable with Common as we are: I am Spark, a friend. What should I give you?

Edit: Ryti responded as I was writing my own answer. The above text has been added after realizing this.

After Spark introduces himself to Ryti, he'll walk to Gu'lorg and talk strategies with him.
— So what do you people know about this place? I understood that it is supposed to be the Redbrands' hidedout, and that you got this information from one of them.
The map of the hideout pops in the air, just in front of Spark.
How to we proceed to make this an efficient attack, and not some kind of deadly brawl? He takes a quick look at his companions and think for a couple of seconds. Aren't we all adapted to low-light environment? That would be a huge advantage if we could just snuff all light as we attack them...

Leylin nods to Seron and approaches Spark and Gu'lorg.

— I would feel much safer if we could either block or put some traps on both exit to the forest and this door on the east that leads to barracks.
OOC:
I presume that there should be a doot. If not - I'll fix this part
May 2, 2018 9:47 am
Kuroi says:
and this door on the east that leads to barracks.
OOC:
Isn't that where Seron is heading?
— The forest entrance door has been kicked down, I'll see if I can put it back in a way that prevent the bandits from getting in. But if we don't have an easy way to block paths we don't want to see used, I'm afraid we won't have time to secure them all...

And while he says this, Spark heads to the forest door to try and put it back, then block it somehow.
I'll be back in a minute, see if you can block the other path in the meantime.

Seron went down the crevice

I think we should either deal with the Glasstaff first, or we should employ the aid of the prisoners. Another option is to go to the lower-right barracks here, clean house, then disguise ourselves as redbrands to get the jump on our enemies. You can put some iron bracelets on me and pretend I am a prisoner.
May 2, 2018 2:13 pm
Bah, I detest disguises and lies. We free the prisoners and then kill or capture all of the Redbrands! That is the Lords' justice and I am its enforcer!
May 2, 2018 2:26 pm
— You can detest all you want, but at the moment we're outnumbered and can't control all directions. So what will happen if we go to prisoners and the rest of Redbrands escape? Or we go go for barracks and get hit from behind? Leylin stares at Mynok with a frown on his face. Being smart doesn't make you liar. And if you don't want to disguise yourself - fine, stay in the rear.
May 2, 2018 2:34 pm
The majority of the Redbrands are the tertiary target. The prisoners are number 1, Glasstaff is number 2. As long as goals 1 and 2 are met, I, as well as the Lords', will be satisfied. I am not worried about numbers, I've bested many in battle, including this beast, basically single handed. Seron is the only one I've seen capable of combat, so I see why you might be worried. Come, Seron and Ryti, let us show these evil doers what justice is!
May 2, 2018 4:04 pm
Mynok, Spark, and Leylin, let us be off towards the prisoners.

Gu'lorg looks at the halfling. Little one, will you stand with me?

Gu'lorg will stand about 20-30 feet behind Mynok, observing as they head in that direction.
