Gu'lorg notices Leylin's interest in the book from that language that he doesn't understand and says, Did you find any books of lore, or magic, or of astronomy?

Kuroi sent a note to Sclasclemski

Seron keeps a watch out going between the two entrances attempting to ensure no one is attempting to get the drop on us.
May 20, 2018 4:28 pm
Leylin is heavily engrossed in the books and seems to not notice you at all Gu’lorg.

Spark keeps a close eye on the door that leads to the barracks. If there's a key hole, he'll even use that do make sure that no one is coming.
— Are you ready to move? The fight wasn't quite in any way, so we should hurry if we want to keep an element of surprise. Are we done searching the room?
As he says this, Spark will probably notice that both him and Seton are keeping a watch out. He'll node to signify that each of them should focus on a single entrance.

Rolls

Notice someone approaching or anything on the door - (1d20+3)

(3) + 3 = 6

Leylin snaps out of his reading as if it took a minute for his ears to actually hear Gu’lorgs question.

Spark you don’t notice anything at the moment.
May 21, 2018 10:23 am
— ... Wave ... Cave ... Orcs ... Lightbringer ... Leylin mumbles as his eyes are darting ove lines in the book. He stops for a moment. Sharply inhales. Few moments later he slowly exhales and turns to Gu'lorg: This is a journal of adventurer. It has some lore, but it can ... wait.

With visible struggle, Leylin shuts the book and places it in his backpack. His presence again starts to dissipate. It's easy to forget about him being in the same room if you're not looking directly at him.

— I'll translate it to you later. Right now we have plently of bandits and some bugbears to deal with. Not to mention prisoners. So keep your guard up and let's move forward!

With those words some warm and very comfortable feeling envelops Mynok, Ryti and Seron.

Soothing Presence (+6 temporary HP)

Does Mynok wear any religious symbols?

Gu'lorg, noticing Leylin's demeanor during his response, says, You're right. Let's save those prisoners and destroy anyone standing in our way.

Where to next?

— Next would be that way. The map pops mid air Apparently we have two areas to secure there and the west side of this underground... thing will be secured.

Perception check

I agree we should be on our way, I doubt our presence has gone unnoticed.

To the prisoners! I then make my way to where they are labeled on Spark's map.
May 22, 2018 4:09 pm
Gu'lorg holds Ryti's hand and guides him to follow the others to the prisoners.
May 22, 2018 5:13 pm
Leylin sighs, shakes his head and silently follows about ten feet behind the last person of the group.
OOC:
Thank stars for the advantage! :D
And Leylin's mind is probably pre-occupied with journal he has in the backpack :D

Ryti tugs on Gu'lorg's hand—not as if trying to escape but more trying to gain his attention "What is pri-so-ners?"

OOC:
Mynok, PM me please what god you are a paladin of.
The group makes their way back through the secret stairwell and into the area with the with the crates. You open the secret door on the other side of the space and step into the hallway with two doors. One directly across from you and another approximately 10 ft to the south. Both closed.

Seron follows the group into the cargo room. Thoughts on getting the prisoners out while we assault the rest of this hideout?
May 23, 2018 7:06 am
— I don't think it would be a good idea to split up just as we charge into the enemy hideout, facing unknown number of foes. It's one thing to be daring and brave, but that would just be thoughtless.
As he says this, Spark walks up to Mynok.
I'll take the frontline, but you need to temper your overzealous rage. Being blind to the danger won't do any good to your cause or god. Or us, for what it's worth.
I serve Justice too, but what good does it make to endanger some to rescue others?

Leylin sighs silently, approaches the group and whispers: I think what Seron meant was that even if we go for prisoners now - the rest of bandits are still present and we'll have to deal with them and protecting innocents at the same time. Since we removed their leadership it would be smart tactical move to eliminate any possible obstacles for the rescue operation.

After saying all that Leylin retreats to his position in the rear of the group, not waiting for any reply or reaction.
