Gulorg - Droop is overwhelmed by everything you have told him and by how kind you have been towards him. He swears to honor Bargrivyek as you do.

Leylin - You are able to get a sense for Gundren in the southern region of the Neverwinter Woods

Sword Coast - Gundren's location

Spark/Berabal - You both are in the Stonehill Inn and recognize one another from your brief encounter earlier in the day.

I approach the halfling, scratching my bruised head as I try to figure out who he is. — Hello there, have we met? I feel like we do but can't quite put my finger on when. I just got in Phandalin today, but it's been a rather busy day driving the Redbrands away!
Sep 12, 2018 1:44 pm
OH!? Bebaral turns his attention to the man. Good day to you aswell. Yes I believe we met in passing on my way out eariler, I too had just gotten here this day. Redbrands you say? is that some kind of cattle perhaps? There was some commotion about it earlier too but i've other things to take care of then so i didnt pay attention. He offers the man a seat at the bar.

Gu’lorg performs a ritual with Droop, involving the cutting of the bridge of his blue nose, as well as the nose of Droop.

As he shares the blood of his nose with the short goblin, the bridge of Droop’s nose burns, but it begins to be marked blue, as the magic of Bargrivyek turns it a lighter shade of blue.

Now you are Droop’lorg, emissary to Bargrivyek, and blek-makyek of the god of duty and honor.

Pleasure to meet you, I'm Spark. I gladly accept the seat and order some food, two ales and offer one to the halfling. The Redbrands were a group of bandits that were harassing this nice town. We fought and there were some casualties, but they are no more and now the locals can go back to their quiet life.
As we talk to introduce ourselves, I'll remove my armor and strap in to my backpack, dust my clothes and probably change my sleeves. I'll also ask the bartender if he's got a bed left for me.

OOC:
Gu'lorg has a room, Leylin has a room, I think Amaris and Sauriel had rooms but as they have both left there is room enough for Spark.

Bebaral suddenly feels a firm hand grab him on the shoulder. You turn around to see a tall human of about 50 looking at you. Now I don’t think that belongs to you son.

Spark you hear this and turn your head to recognize the face of Sildar Halwinter, the man in the Townmaster’s Hall that sent you after Gu’lorg and the others earlier today. Sildar reaches down and grabs "Talon" from under the bar, which is not where you had left it Spark.

Looks like taking care of the Redbrands wasn’t the only fortune you found today huh, Spark was it? I think you should keep a closer eye on this one. He hands the sword to Spark and then turns to Bebaral, and this one. He a friend of yours?

I stand up from my seat, grabbing the precious sword along with the rest of my equipment: — By the shining scales of Bahamut, were you trying to steal from me? You have one shot to convince me not to report that kind of actions, try me...
OOC:
I don't know how recruiting/joining you would make sense in that situation, so please convince me :/

I have no need to steal, I'm mearly just checking your perceptions of your surroundings. If this was a busy bustling town that sword would have been long gone by now. Bebaral gently puts down his cup. I am looking for some companions to aid me but i can only be with those who are perceptive enough to not lose their valuables should we happen upon some shady areas. Bebaral reaches down and pulls out of his pack the Jade statue. I've also seen this taken from your friends pack i believe. Some kid picked it up.

Do I know anything about that Jade statue? I don't think I've ever heard of it...
I give the sneaky halfling a suspicious look, trying to gauge if he's stupid but honest or if he's trying to deceive me. — I mean, that's probably what any thief would say when he gets caught. And what would you need companions for? Selling illegitimate goods in some shady area?

Hey just cause i may have contact in shady areas don't mean i dabble in illegal things. I work for a Scholar out of Never Winter. Hes a studyer of magical items & artifacts. He gingerly drinks from his mug.
I've recently come down this way to meet up a source that tells me there's a magical presence over by Old Owl Well. And with the ever impending dangers of true thieves, i wouldn't stand a chance by myself. Thus i look for companions that could hold their own.

— Huuuum... Part of me want to believe that, but again you just tried to steal my most precious possession. And I can't be sure you'd have given it back...
I stare at him for a good five seconds, analyzing his reactions and then: I guess I'll give you a benefit of a doubt. But you should definitely find some other way to make first contact!
So what can you tell me about that Old Owl Well place?

As I say that, I sit back neat him and thank Sildar for his sharp eye.

Sildar nods, letting the situation drop, but making it clear he’d keep an eye on the halfling. Sildar returns to his table.

Not much, He just says theres lots of magic about the place. I want to think its a good chance thats whats makeing some creatures about stirr there. Bebaral gives a glance as Sildar leaves.
