No, but I’ll go ahead and give it to you this time. [ +- ] Gu’lorg - Staff of Defense
This slender, hollow staff is made of glass yet is as strong as oak. It weighs 3 pounds. You must be attuned to the staff to gain its benefits and cast its spells.
Bio:
While holding the staff, you have a +1 bonus to your Armor Class.
The staff has 10 charges, which are used to fuel the spells within it. With the staff in hand, on your turn you may cast one of the following spells from the staff if the spell is on your class’s spell list: mage armor (1 charge) or shield (2 charges). No components are required.
The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges each day at dawn. If you expend the staff’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff shatters and is destroyed.

Gu’lorg, another rest spent with the item is required to become attuned to it. Spark make an arcana check to see if it has any magical properties and/or a history check to see if you recall any information about it.

A shame for me that it's not a shortsword, but hey this a very nice weapon! Then, when Gu'lorg asks about a larger organization, I put the weapon next to me and think about it. Huuuum, the letter you found in Glasstaff’s cabinet. Didn't it imply that they were just pawns taking orders from above?

I stand up, dust of my clothes and look at Gu'lorg while pointing to the potion on the ground. Also, Gu'lorg - can you take a look at that potion? I think that you two should stay here and rest a bit... While I get some people here to help with... Moving and cleaning. Sounds good?

— There is some food in the cellar through the north-eastern passage. You can also get fresh water there. I'll try to be fast. I say to Spark, nod to Gu'lorg and start moving towards the forest exit.
