I am the Law is kind of a booster version of Parley, both would be a 2d6+cha bonus roll so which ever you think is appropriate for your approach. Persuassion/Cha check would be Parley. If you're going with I Am the Law (Don't think of it in Sylvester's voice.) give me a bit of how this falls in lines with the teachings of your God and doctrine so we can build on the Lore.

As much as possible, Augustin tries to present himself as a leader.

Augustin bounds off to rally and muster troops for defensive tactics. In the chaos he is able to get a handful of people to band together, unfortunately they seem ready to bolt if you don't lead them as a group staying with them.

A man adjusts glasses and looks to Augustin and the others, the shield user cries out for assistance, a man in robes holds some item in his hand mutter prayer, four men in armor hunker around Augustin and the rest, Two people with bows mutter about hoping it doesn't come down to brawling.

OOC:

You've managed to inspire a small warband with a hodge podge of people, they likely will not be on the level of an adventurer and will die easily though. You're debating on if you'd have done better on your own a little most likely.

Xadra and her companion move off as it growls at a small group of smaller beetles.

Maximo slashes through the battlefield and towards a target that looks to be larger beetle from a blind spot. His eyes tear at the sudden wind blown at him as his blade strikes it's target to reveal it to be a man covered in smaller beetles. He looks at Maximaino in shock and down at the blade in his side and stumbles down to the ground clutching his wound. The smaller ones and the blue mist give Maximaino thoughts of caution since attacking those he could protect seems like an evil tactic to use him against his own.

OOC:

The Bard and Paladin + Co are up. @ Phil depend on your action they'll be assisting you depending on the fiction you throw up for your actions. Also for the fiction is Augustin use to fighting rank and file like this with a warband?

Dunwick in an almost comical fashion starts getting chased by his would be attacker, he opts to run around Maximaino slows at times and points at the beetle and motions to hit it when he comes back around. Dunwick also notices the man laying injured next to his companion possibly someone he couldn't saw in time.

+1d4 to Maximaino's successful attacks going forward.

"Come!" Augustin says. "We can move as a unit, and gather people up into a force. Slowly, but surely, we can come together." Setting his sights on the nearest person that looks to be panicked he shouts, "You there! Stand firm! We're coming for you." He then directs the men dressed in armor to keep the crawling things away, and instructs the man with the shield to be there battering ram. "Simply push the creatures aside. We'll keep them at bay, and make our way to our fellows."

You can try and get other people to join through a social approach or attack yourself to get through, the others with you may give a bonus of some sort depending what you do but they'll for the most part be just tagging along not doing much. They don't seem up for heroics that much.

The Shield holding looks at Augustin and shakes his head vigorously 'no' asking if Augustin is a mad man. The armored men look at each other, "Uh, he kinda just scouts and finds traps..." they offer up possibly explaining his level of unwillingness to rush into the fray, none of them volunteer to do this either though it seems.

Augustin pushes the man aside taking up the shield and wails into the monster with his sword and pushes back sharp armlike talons that try and pull him in closer before moving away. The creatures maw opens and moves forward towards his head but stops when an arrow from behind Augustin lodges into the bigger target.

"I think you made it mad!" someone offers, others confirm saying yep and definitely.

OOC:

Roll damage. Warparty helped so a 10 total no counter attack.

Austin's sword tries to get into a joint to hinder the monster but the sudden movements have his sword sparking off metal sounding chitinous plates.

OOC:

Rolls go 6- you miss I do damage from the counter, 7-9 you hit and do damage so do they, 10+ you hit no counter, there's a plus one awarded from the group of civilians with you.
