@Wulfram: you see a number of pieces that appear to depict famous scenes if battle as the knights battle against various enemies, undead and dragons but whether they come from the north or not is anyone's guess.

"Well friends, what do you think?" Araaz asks the party while putting away his notes. "5000 Gp is a decent price I suppose. And we have a starting point now. Should we go to this Snowsden village to get more information?" He turns just in time to see Ryki's prank, but he doesn't recognize the action for what it was. Seeing that Wulfram and Quiet have wandered off a little to peruse the art hanging on the walls, and Cailean and Ryki seem to be arguing about something a little, he asks again, "Um, hello, my friends? Was no one else paying attention to our host regarding our task? Or were the walls and drink more interesting?"

Oh yes! The servant who brought you the drinks seems to be waiting for you to finish your drinks and leave. You know where the Dukedom is although whether you have been there before is up to you! Cailean raises his glass"To the desert then..." Cailean lifts his glass and downs it. Immediately spitting it out and looking at the empty glass. "This land must be cursed, everything’s being taken over by dirt and sand."

"I agree...simple mission, not much more to do here" Wulfram speaks up as he makes his way back over to the group. As Wulfram preparation to leave the estate he puts his hand on the shoulder of the proprietor and squeezes a little harder than necessary and whispers something into his ear.

Ryki clasps his hands together, a wide smile adorns his face hidden by his mask but revealed by his eyes. "Don't see how sand is a curse. I quite enjoy the sand; it'll be like home and to think, we're getting paid too! Quite the favorable outcome, if you ask me."

You finish your wines and the servant looks a little nervous. He rushes off and appears a few moments later. He leads you to the front gate and then wordlessly hands you a small satchel. Inside you find a letter explaining your quest and giving you the full authority of Lord Byron himself! You also find a small wooden case sealed with wax.

Wulfram first reviews the document to make sure he did not miss anything crucial to the assignment. Once satisfied with the document he hands it out to the nearest companion.
