Tomas' story

Thomas watches as Sovelin falls, seemingly to his death. In an instant he vanishes into the darkeness below. He hears Sovelin's screams fade into the darkness. Suddenly, he hears a scream coming from above him, he looks up and sees Sovelin's falling figure directly above his head. He tries to get out of the way but he is too slow and Sovelin crashes into him, and they both fall to the ground.

As you both get to your feet you realise that there must be some form of magic that teleported him above the platform.

Thomas looks around but he doesn't see anything to tie his rope to.You are free to try and cross again.

The pit seems to be about 40 feet across.

You turn back and head back past the statue and down the other path. The corridor opens up into a large room about 60 feet long and 25 feet wide. You see a large line has been carved into the rock about five feet in front of you. There is no obvious exit from the room.

What do you do?

I need to know exactly where you check. Please be specific as to how far you move into the room.

i was doing checks for the inspecting the line. So I guess just five feet forward?

Great. You don't find anything on this side of the line.
