Would be good to know why you are asking as it may affect things a tad. Lets say its a base hard difficulty upgraded once due to her skill (so a Challenge and 2 x Difficulty dice), you can throw a Boost in there due to the fact she is reasonably well disposed towards you all at the moment and I'd say Proper Upbringing would apply given the setting (this is as much Polite Company as it get's in Dawnsmoor)

I'm just thinking that "How much do you want" is the classic opener of a good negotiator -- always best NOT to make the first offer yourself. I can have Jabari roll Negotiation to try to put the ball back in her court. (Also, as a player, I have no idea how much is fair, so this serves meta-game needs. ;) )

I wonder if we should start with the watch? Play the innocent citizen bit, say you were there when the Catfolk attacked, and you wanted to know what had become of them?

Hi all, apologies for the extended silence. We've been dealing with illnesses running through our house for the last few weeks which has really cut down on the time I've had for gaming on here and now I am working from home and we have pulled our daughter out of school I can't see the situation changing in at least the next few weeks. For now I'm putting all of the games I'm running on hold and will hope to pick them up again at a future date. Apologies again everyone.

No worries my game was going slower and no crisis involved.

So, just wanting to check in with people - I was going to get this going again but just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were. Assuming you are all up for playing this again I could just pick things up where we left off or shelve all of that stuff that was going on and start things from scratch with this group.....

I'd love to start playing again. Jabari's a fun character. As for unpause versus reset, I'd vote for whichever makes you more excited, mcneils5. GMing in PbP is like a marathon, so it's just as important you're invested as it is that we are.

I am actually hesitant to start playing; for the last few months life has been pretty busy to the point it can be a struggle to maintain remaining up to date on my current games, I don't think I'm in a good position to add (or in this case resume) a game.

Hmm I guess we should pause then. Also we aren't media ressing into a prison cell yet due to what's going on so that's good.

Totally understand mate, I'm being very careful not to over commit at the moment. I'll leave this be for now then, if you decide you are up for diving back in then just shout out and we can look to get this moving again. In the meantime I might look to spin a different game up for the time being :)

Aye, I don't mind if you keep this game going; admittedly not the best spot for a character to leave.
