OOC Thread

The odd Out of Character post is ok in the IC threads but for anything more in-depth please stick it here.

If you feel anything in the game is bugging you or want to have a discussion around how I’m interpreting a particular rule post it in here if your comfortable doing so (PM’s to me are fine if you’d rather). I’m quite familiar with FFG’s Star Wars but as there are a few differences between that and Genesys I may trip up or intentionally do something that doesn’t follow Genesys RAW (in the latter case I’ll always endeavour to make it clear if I’m using a house rule though).

Also feel free to ask any questions about the world or setting. As I’m new to Terrinoth other than the RPG setting book (not played any of the board games set in the world) I may do something that doesn’t quite follow your expectations so if so I’d ask you to just run with it unless it really bugs you in which case I’m always happy to listen and try to change things to fit if possible.

Hi peeps, I've just posted a fairly hefty post in the IC thread with some more details about Dawnsmoor. As there doesn't seem to be much in the way of official details about the city (and even what there is seems to contradict itself between the various products the city has been noted in) I'm pretty much just winging it and building up my view of the city as I go. What I would like is to know if there is anything you'd like to see in the city (an area/location, type of or specific businesses, NPC's, etc) or even just some cool ideas you've all got for this location or surrounding area then feel free to share them and I'll try to work them in. Don't stress things if not as I've got a fair few ideas to flesh things out but as I'm a bit of a fan of collaborative world building I wanted to see if any of you had any thoughts.

I have a very, very rough map that I've thrown together for the lay of the land in the city and a high level idea about some of the different areas in the city so I'll get that pulled together and posted in it's own thread in the next day or so.

My "absence"

I got to admit I enjoy playing a fast talking gnome in this campaign, regardless of the outcome of the current conversation I'm going to deflate as soon as we get out of the meeting asking the ladies how screwed are we if we have to kill an entire tribe of goblins...

As a heads up Mushroommage has been MIA across the site for over a week, I check with the discord sever and no one has been able to get in contact.

Maybe they're East Coast...

Apologies for the delay peeps, have been having a pretty manic couple of weeks and every time I thought to move this game along I never followed through. Should have an update up later today/tomorrow

No worries I think we're down to three now with Mage being inactive.

As a heads up on Oct. 14-21 I will be taking a trip with some friends to New York, my posting will likely slow down during this time.

Just to let everyone know I'm having a few internet issues at home at the moment (damn thing keeps dropping out, have reported it and waiting on a new router which should be some time this week) and I'll be going on holiday at the end of the week so my ability to regularly post will be a tad cut down for the next couple of weeks

Hi peeps, just to let you all know given that it doesn't look like Mushroommage is going to be returning (inactive for over 2 months now) I'm going to kick them from the game and look to see if there are any takers for the slot - if you have any suggestions just let me know.

Ok, I'd post a thread in the games tavern. Some people joined a few new star wars FFG games, I'd say there is some interest in more FFG system play.

I'm going to have to bow out of this game, I'm afraid. I'll stick around until a couple of replacements can be found and mcneils5 can write me out of the story, but I'm still pretty overwhelmed with outside life and need to cut down on games. :(

No worries, thanks for the heads up. Don’t worry about hanging around on my account, I’ll run Nya as an NPC until a suitable point for her to split from the party and look to get a couple of new players in :)
